Virtua fighter 5 final showdown

I am actuallyinterested in this game( more than most of the other fighters) I actually bought regualr virtua fighter 5 last week and I am still learning the mechanics of the game I think final showdown comes out on the 5th or June any thoughts on this game? I know there a thread for all fighting games I just wanted something specifically for Virtua fighter.

The Final showdown will be only sell in digital format (15$) and features 2 new characters, new costumes and new animations. The new costumes will be part of a DLC (5$). I think that, the original VF5 is enough for you. But if you are a big fan of VF give a try.

Do you know if there are any new game modes being added? I assume multiplayer? The PlayStation 3 version was missing multiplayer, while the Xbox 360 version had it.

The PS3 VF5 Final Showdown version have multiplayer and trophies. I guess that is a new singleplayer mode, I'm not sure.

I am interested i also am new to virtua fighter and picked up 5 on myps3 and was disapointed in no online play but its nice to hear final showdown will have it I wish it could have been a full release but I am sure it had something to do with money issues.

On seeing this will be offered for free, it prompted me to sell Mortal Kombat. Seeing I only played that twice, if this any good, I won't have list out on much.
I will be going from one classic remake to another!

Yes i downloaded it today on ps+. Played one, memories instantly returned from the saturn, first game on it (bundeled). Ohhh nostalgia.

I suck at fighting games but I got this and went straight for Jackie (Jacky? Can't remember) seeing as I love Bruce Lee films. I can barely string a combo together but I'm going to try and learn anyway, it doesn't help that I don't really understand how the controls work and maybe pull off a move every one in five attempts through luck more than skill...

Such a shame I don't have either a PS3 or an Xbox 360 any more, as this looks incredible.

Ah well; guess I'll have to wait and see whether or not VF6 comes out on the PC, huh?
