Virtual Garage/Car Shows/Goodwood

With the addition of Goodwood being in the game as a track and so many people wonder how it an be used... It's too short of a track... No great purpose... Though I'm excited about the oppurtunity to drive it and take photos at the track, its made me want a feature I've wanted in the Gran Turismo series for a long time...

Project Gotham Racing was far from great, but I loved the way you could have an actual garage and not just a menu. You could have your cars displayed and parked at a location of your choosing as if it was an actual garage. At the time, it looked gorgeous and was really the best thing about the game in my opinion...

With as much love as Kaz has for the beauty of Gran Turismo... I think it would be fantastic if we saw similar in GT6... Physical garages where you could store a portion of your car list... Freely roam and take pictures of wanted or just take in the pieces of they are. It has to be something that would be easy to implement as it would really just be an extension of photo mode...

In addition, it would be perfect for Goodwood... Instead of just the track, how about including the staging area... You could have a Goodwood festival online, where the the user could bring a car and it could be on display with other members online... Where you could talk, take pictures of the cars all sitting there or be able to get in your car and make a pass and even take pictures of the cars making there runs...

It wouldn't have to just be the Goodwood location... but make other generic locations were you could have a car show type theme to show off your car and really expand the photo mode even further...

It would also be awesome to see the actual dealership... Walk around, see the cars on display, get in... take for a test drive (which we know you can now do anyway...)

I'd really, really like to see PD implement a 3D garage with the option of a few "houses" or locations and think the car show functionality would be a perfect now with the Goodwood addition...

About the garage, i remember the garage style in Racing Battle C1 Grand Prix, was a very
good idea and about the race grid u can see the others cars in pits before of the race, was good.

How is posible PD dnt have goods ideas with a plataform how is the PS3 or PS4...

I love that aspect of PGR.
Another title has presented a few days ago a similar mode:

Assetto Corsa (only PC)

I think a similar mode would look good in Gran Turismo, the game need something more interactive than Photomode to show the fantastic PD's polygonal models

I take this capture in april, looks very good.

Asseto and ProyectCars have good future.

A Goodwood show themed photo location would be cool. You could walk round the paddock and your selected car would be in amongst other cars.
The other cars should be randomly picked every time to keep it fresh.

That was the best part of PGR4. I highly doubt that will be possible though due to the 1,300 or so cars expected in GT6.

I'd love this to happen in every location. Something like a track day, people joining the lobby start in their own area in the paddock, then drive into the pit lane and onto the track. Might be a little immersive for most, but I'd love the realism it would give to the game. I envision scenes like this:

Obviously, but it wouldn't be the most difficult thing to implement, we already get most of these things in the game, they're just not accessible to us.
