StarLight Garage presents another concept car which was introduced at the "Wörthersee 2015" event, how could Volkswagen not be present with one of their iconic Golf Edition's?
Here is the Volkswagen Golf GTE Sport prototype 2015.
We have the VGT, but we should have this too in GT6!
For PD is this in two clicks done ... as a matter of speaking.

The Volkswagen Golf GTE Sport has presented a prototype of Volkswagen in the "Wörthersee 2015" event with the Golf GTI Club Sport. It is a plug-in hybrid vehicle powered by an internal combustion engine and two electric motors powered by a lithium-ion battery.
The chassis is made of carbon fiber and the heat engine, four-cylinder and 1.6-liter engine is based on the Volkswagen Polo R WRC (International Racing Car Championship rally). It is turbocharged, it generates 299 hp maximum power and 400 Nm of torque.

The first electric motor is located on the front axle, together with the transmission, which automatic six-speed double clutch. It provides 115 hp and 330 Nm. The second electric motor, the same power but with less torque (270 Nm), drives the rear wheels. The overall system is 400 hp and maximum torque is 670 Nm.

According to Volkswagen, the Golf GTE Sport design based on competitive vehicles, but on the way, is optimized for use on circuit

The doors open scissors, that is to say, pivot vertically, and to open upwards. There aerodynamic accessories such as side deflectors, a rear spoiler and a diffuser to increase support for high speed and optimize brake cooling. Some of these elements carbon fiber. Wheels are 20-inch tires mounted respectively 235 and 275 mm wide front and rear.

The interior has carbon fiber elements and furnishings and some coatings are microfiber. The bucket seats are kind of harness belts kind with five anchor points. There are paddles to change gears manually at the wheel. The instrumentation consists of three screens that data at different levels of the driver.
The closer the vision of the driver's display shows speed and autonomy "GTE mode" mode can have the best line when driving on a circuit. In the passenger side there is a multifunction display. The passenger is separated from the driver by a voluminous center console where more controls are accommodated as a button to activate the fire suppression system.

On the roof there is a button that lets you select different modes of driving, with a similar approach used in the Volkswagen Golf GTE "E-mode 'lets move to 50 km in pure electric mode;" Hybrid mode ": the system adjusts the drive mode on the needs of driving, they are only the electric motor, the internal combustion engine or both combined systems. It also supports configure how the management of the battery if you do not accelerate, either by keeping the load over a certain value, for example, use it at another time, either recharge the battery using the gasoline engine as a generator, "GTE mode": it is activated by a dedicated button on the console changes the dynamic response of the car, although Volkswagen. has not indicated which affect parameters. All three engines develop maximum power. So can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 4.3 seconds and 0-200 km / h in 15.9 s.

When the car runs solely with the internal combustion engine traction is the front axle. If all three engines (for example the "GTE mode" active mode) is integral traction, even when the battery level is low. In this case, the front electric motor acts as an electric generator.

Seriously, what's the point of suggesting this? :odd:

The VGT in the game is pretty much already this car, and hopefully in GT7 it will have an interior view too.

If you look at the menu backgrounds in the VGT "dealership", All of the VGT's actually already have fully detailed interiors. All the more annoying that PD didn't bother to model them.
