My vote will probably change a few times over the week. Neither car is good looking but the McLaren has a nicer shape whilst the Williams has a better livery.

After so many Marlboro cigarette boxes in the 'eighties, the Williams was a refreshing change.

1991/92 saw a plethora of great designs. Probably the best crop in the history of F1 with only a small number of exceptions marring the grids.

Wouldn't rank either the McLaren or Williams too highly though given how sublime the Lotus, Tyrrell and '92 Lambo-engined cars looked. But the FW14 snatches it thanks to the memorable three-colour combo.

When I think what an F1 car looks like I always think of the McLaren. Gotta send my vote there.

Neither of these are especially good looking. McLaren is less messy in my eyes than the Williams.

I think the 1990 MP4/5 was the sharper-looking design, but that's what I get for failing to vote (again). The MP4/6 was a bit more blunt.

The FW14 family is better-proportioned for all of its odd shapes, rather unique, and kind of the end of the line for this kind of balance in design...so it sets the nod in this match-up.

Mclaren, as with the Ferrari vs Jordan I'll always go to slim, elegant noses, not those Obelix styled humps.

I much prefer the lower sidepods on the Williams, it makes it look wider. And wider is better.

Couldn't agree more.

As for this matchup, the McLaren was a nomination of mine, so I'm going with that one. Even if the Williams does beat it out, I wouldn't be mad. It's a very nice design as well.

Love both of these, and could have picked either. Today I felt like voting for the Williams, on the condition that it has a Red Five on the front.

Both are very beautiful to me. I will go with the MP4/6, because of its intense sound and the big challenge it offered in terms of driving to the limit

Ummed and ahhhhed but I've changed my vote to the Williams. The livery makes it look much better.

While I don't deny that the MP4/6 has a great shape, the McLaren-Marlboro livery is a bit overrated and definitely oversatured in my opinion. It's been done.
