Vote for Pit Stop option in feedback! ! !

Hey guys,

I created a thread in the feedback section asking for an option in online lobbies to force a mandatory pit stop.

* The option for have 1 or more mandatory pit-stops in online racing
* The option to force drivers to use 2 or more different tire compounds in online racing.

pretty much just rules from formula 1. It would make online racing in general more fun & It would be a helpful to a lot of the online leagues

It would be pretty difficult to implement...plus there's no telling what'll happen if the rule is broken.

The same way you set the weight & hp limits add an option to set # of pitstops.

if you cross the finish line without doing your pit stop the game just says you have been disqualified or a huge time penalty???. I thought it was pretty simple & straight forward.

The pit could be used as a drivethrough penalty for dangerous driving, but a regulatory pitting...nah.

In many race disciplines you have to make @ least 1 mandatory pit stop, and in a lot of the racing leagues you have to make a pitstop anyway.
All i was saying is that it would be nice is PD made this an option when you create a lobby. Not for all lobbies.

Something like the "window" maybe.
I've raced in some room like that these days, i'd like an option like that.

I think this would be a cool option, and very easy to implement.

Pitting and tire rules are a fact of life in motorsport that a lot of people find interesting. Why not? those who don't like this option wouldn't use it.

I also like the idea of imposing a mandatory pit penalty for various infractions. I also think something needs to be done about the reliability of online matches as well as rage kickers and rage quitters.

Cool idea. I bet it would get a decent amount of use from leagues and what not. Probably wouldn't see it in more casual rooms but I see nothing wrong with adding the option. +1
