Let's hope Sony brings their VR equipment to the PC as well. I know there are rumors that Sony is open to this. I've been a long-time stereoscopic-gamer, so I'm not quite as eager to jump into VR hardware right away as I'm already partway there, but once the market settles a bit I'll definitely make the plunge.
For those who want to know, AC does work just fine stereoscopically on existing equipment using TriDef and the 3D display of your choice. So if you already own a PC and a 3D display (and have a video-card capable of handling it, it's VERY demanding) you can snag TriDef and get part way to VR with little expense.
