Got bored in my hotel room and was looking through some pictures on my computer... I saw 2 pictures that really stood out for me and put them together. Would like criticism on how this could be made better(I know it can, but i'm pretty new to the photoshop things)

The first thing I would do is to not use the magic wand to cut out the sky.... I can see all the hard white pixels on the edges of the top layer. Use the pen tool and paths next time.

The faded Skyline kills the image because with that in place, there is now a conflict of determining what is the focal point. The one point perspective on the road is all you really need. Throwing in diagonal lines from the skyline just make it look all awkward. If I were you I'd just leave out the skyline entirely and make the original photo of the benz more colourful.

To answer your primary question: Wallpaper worthy for a lot of people; not wallpaper-worthy for me.

Makes sense. Like I said, just a quick thing to do. But yea, it's easy to see that.

The thing is for me, I like pictures to have different things going on at the same time. I see where your coming from though. Would it help to blur-out the Skyline?

edit-Does this look any better?

I'm not really good at concentrating on two different aspects at the same time. The wallpaper almost literally sent my head spinning, so I'd rather just improve the colour in the Benz photo :ouch:

But anyways, it is your wallpaper, so you can do whatever you want with it, and make it how you like it :D
