wanting to buy a trueno ae86

i am kind of new in GT2 and is wondering if i could buy or win a panda (black and white) trueno ae86 in this game?

when i started playing GT2, there was one for sale however, it was of a different color (silver gray i think) so i didn't buy it. i am already in day 20 but it seems that the used cars for sale gets more dated and has more power as i play the game longer. i am kind of losing hope if i'll still be able to buy that car (color panda) in this game.

Theres the 2 tone White a Black if thats what your talking about. They are amazingly common. Just go in the Used a buy it. Its always there.

The used car lot selection changes every 5 days. At 5, 10, 15..... just keep checking.

Hi, i am new here. Just saw this thread and it interest me quite a bit. I bought a panda tureno in the 40-49 day window, guess a bit of initial d madness come in to me.

There was a 83 and 85 version and i tot the 83 version may be a AE85 well they were the same DOHC so i guess they are the same. But there were some difference between the 83 and 85 version. The 83 version has its spoiler painted black and the 85 does not. Was wonder if there is a version with black bonnet...

Anyway a fully modded on can go to abt 260bhp but it can still go quite fast and i completed the FR challange with it. Control is superb but I can't really drift much maybe its my setting. It is not a really fast car but somehow it is a really thrilling car or maybe it is just me.

yup! i already bought one in day 40 of my game. although mine was the 83 model. still have not made any mods in it.

but i would just like to ask if i could fit a black carbon fiber hood on it to make it look very much like the trueno in initial d? i saw one video here in gtp that had it, although it is in gt3.

The Initial D Trueno didn't have a carbon fiber hood.
In Gran Turismo 3, you can win the Sprinter Shigeno, which does have a carbon fiber hood and black rims. No Trueno in GT2 has a black 'bonnet,' which I hope is the same thing as a hood. I'm not really good with terminology.

And you can't but those hoods, either.

Ya thanx bonnet=hood, we usually call it that around here because if we call it hood some might hear it as boot. Seems like I have to get a GT3 to get the car... Oh ya the the comic version of the initial d does have a CF bonnet maybe it will appear in the later part of the fouth stage.

Yeah, in Initial D Takumi gets the carbon fiber hood for his 86 upon joining Project: D.
