Sylvester Stallone appears close to making another Rocky film. Yes, just when you thought Rocky Balboa would see the character shuffling off into a well-earned, punch-free retirement, Sly is looking into his return. "I know I'll probably make a fool of myself if I make another Rocky film after turning 60," he told Germany's Tele5. "I also know there's gonna be a lot of criticism. Even my wife says, 'Don't do it. You're embarrassing the kids'. But I told her, 'If I don't try I'll be a really unhappy man.' You have to do...

Just when you thought it was safe to think of boxing movies without Stallone... Seriously, how long can you ride the wave of the original Rocky being successful

I'm guessing that it will be reconciliation film with his son. Odd, because the 6th movie already kind of was, but I still doubt that much boxing will actually take place.

I've always thought he should combine them. Cause Rambo would be a much more badass boxer than Rocky.

UPDATE: 10/26/09 3:30 PM PST CHUD is now reporting that the Stallone's responses were actually referring to Rocky Balboa and not a new film.

Thanks to some European Chewers on our message board, we have learned that the translations making the web right now are wrong. It seems as though in the interview Stallone is talking in the past tense about Rocky Balboa and not a Rocky 7. Don't trust Babelfish for your translations, I guess.

you remember me of the other sly movie coming out next month... thread apart

I actually prefered his last Rocky movie to the Rambo movie.
Every Rocky movie is quality, but the same couldn't be said of Rambo.
First Blood - Good
Rambo FB part 2 - Good
Rambo III - YUCK!
Rambo - Average

Rocky is one of the best characters in motion picture history, and I will follow his story until Sly kills him off or until the actor pegs it in real life, god forbid.
