Wasn't GT5 supposed to have cars and bikes?

I think we all saw the picture where there's a car standing next too a motorcycle in the pitbox from PD, i was trying to find it( the pic) on the net
but could'nt find it. Are the bikes canceled? does somebody have any info?

The bikes were simply used in a demo to show what the cars and bikes looked like in HD. As far as I can tell, cars will be in GT5 and bikes will be in TT.

The bieks we're never in a GT game, they were used once as part of a technical demonstration for PS3 but nothing more.

In point of fact, since the full game isn't out yet...
Bikes could be a part of it.
I hope not.
IF PD can make one Tourist Trophy for the bike guys, surely they can upgrade it for the PS3.

Yeah, it was just a proof-of-concept that was shown. However, I'm sure that they guys at PD can just drop in a bike model into their database and then race it around the track along with cars.

At launch, GT5 will just be cars though. I also doubt that bikes will ever end up as part of GT5, and more likely we'll see TT2. I loved the original TT, so here's hoping!

Yeah TT was a great game aswell, I would like to do some Car vs Bike matches. But I doubt they will include bikes in GT, but it would be great if they could add in a data linking system so that if you had both games you could import bikes from your TT garage to your GT garage. Just an idea.

PD have never said once that bikes will be in GT5.

They did, but it was long long time ago. Then they mention that it will be strictly cars because it will take them too long to develop.
But the way I see it, lets say GT5 comes out in some time, year later TT-2 game. I think it will be able to DL whole list of motorcycles into GT5 like an ADD-ON since it will have same tracks. So I think that in the future TT will be an ADD on either by PSN or Blu-ray.

No they said it would be interesting to include bikes in GT5, they never said they were going to incude them. To date Kaz has only ever mentioned bikes in GT as an interesting idea, he's never said it will happen or that he's planning to make it happen. I tihnk the idea of combining the next TT game with GT5 is an interesting one and I think that's the best way forward wit hthis idea since that way people who don't want to race bikes with cars can stick with GT5 and/or TT2 as seperate games and people who want to race bikes and cars can combine the titles.

Yes, and thats really good. GT5 should be the best RacingSim ever, and not a mixture out of motorcycling and cardriving.

if some guys wants games like that, they should buy a PGR for x360.
