Questions to broad. Best car for what? Budget? I personally like the focus ST or Volvo C30 for cheap or the RX8 for a good drive

Define 'cheap.' Define 'best.' Define 'fast.' I recommend the Nissan GT-R, fully tuned, if cheap means under 500,000 credits. On racing tyres it's faster than a super GT car. Still, it's a bit soulless, so if you're looking for fun I'd check elsewhere.

I expected a typical GTPlanet style responce here. And it looks like you guys came through. (Well BenB did anyhow, good shout. - Edit)

Part of me wished that a neat list of cars came up.

Best car under 10,000 is and then a sort of list of Best cars as you have cash.

I guess a S13 Silvia K is a great under 10,000 car

The Altezza Touring Car is pretty fast for the cash outlay. (As it comes with Racetyres as standard and has a couple of healthy spoonfuls of Aero it is a very fast cheap car.

and the Tommykiara ZZ-II (The four wheel drive prototype to what became the ASL Garaiya) is silly good for 60,000

Depends on your definition of fast...Top speed, track times, acceleration, etc. Please clear this up. As far as a cheap TRACK TIME car, i'd go with the Volkswagen Golf GTI V '05. Fully modded runs you about 180k or less.

Well, to be fair, it's really hard to tell what he means by best, cheap, and fast. GT5's currency is so easy to come by that a $1 million car could be cheap for the OP, or a $10,000 car. He gave us no criteria to go by, except the most subjective of them all.

Are you trying to win a certain GT5 race?

I would have to say there is a fast car for say,the 400pp,500pp,650pp seasonal events.

I've found that I can win in the 400-500pp races with the TOYOTA 86 GT 12'.

I like the new Weider Honda HSV 12' for the 650pp. (DLC 99cents)

You can win ALOT of credits with the 650pp seasonal events at the 200% login bonus.
