Sorry, I couldn't find the Xbox one thread so I'm posting it here;
I have the Energy Saving option turned on and always do a full shutdown/power up.
I'm curious what the light blinking sequence is for when you turn off your console from the controller: it doesn't go off right away the way it does when you hold down the power button for a few seconds. Instead there's a 13 or 14-time blinking sequence, then it goes off.
Power on doesn't matter if you use the controller or power button, turns on the exact same way.
So I'm curious, what's the blinking sequence for? Why does it take longer to shut down?
