Can you believe this news station? I think that's completely sick and to see this video coming from a news station makes it even worse IMO.

I personally think if a independent broadcaster or small unrecognized news station did it I would have a bit of a different outlook on it but considering a big news channel that delivers news to all of Chicago did it, I think it's sick. 👎

A German news station once aired a video that was posted on Youtube by a well known internet troll and passed it off as a father filming his son with a surveilance camera. They showed the video as proof that video games turn you into a violent mess...

But, that's TV stations for ya. Truth isn't as important as sculpting opinions, let alone getting moar views.

I agree with this too, even if he didn't say he wanted to be "the pohleece", I don't see the problem.

I'm sure people immediately thought because he was African American and there was a shooting that had to do with the story that he was going to do something wrong with it.

I'm aware of what framing is.

I'd have to watch the news for a long time for them to "paint a picture" in my mind that's for sure and if anyone lets a news station effect their thoughts and outlook on things has a problem IMO.

It happens often enough, I get guns don’t kill people people kill people, but guns don’t prevent people from killing people either
