Sunday kinda works out for me. I intended to do the Suzuka round and the season finale of the Super GT series run by Lancer, but it's no biggie. Friday would be a big problem though.

Really disappointed with the change. I work on Sundays so I am out. I've had such a hard time finding a decent series that runs on Saturdays. Where can I find information on the N24 series? Maybe I can at least follow it even if I don't have the skill to compete in it.

Had to edit as this comes off pretty whiney. I'm not whining haha! But I'm sad cuz I've had a lot of fun racing with you guys.

Hey Tati that sucks that the change doesn't work for you. :(

The Nurburg 24 hour is an annual team race run in February each year. It's a one off real time 24 hour race where you need to get together with local teammates in order to 'share' a single car, and do driver changes in real time during tyre/fuel pitstops.

This year we are running this over on the ''C.R.A.P." forums, and starting on 14th Sept is a lead up series that will provide team practise and decide qualification for Feb, and maybe first choices on a limited number of cars.

Although this series 'N24 Car Selection Series' is primarily for teams that will race together in Feb, we do have a category for casual teams ('Amateur' teams) that want to race in the N24 CSS but can't commit for the 24 hr in Feb. Take a look at the thread

You'll need to sign up to the CRAP forums first, and then you'll be able to view/post and maybe you could hook up as a spare driver for one of the 'Amatuer' teams.

Of people you know, myself, Plux, I-Was-Ere, memto, Jonny, Micantoney, WIDFO, ANFD, TDZDave, Heathenpride and others are all formed up into teams. Take a look........

Aw thanks for the info, Gadget! They're all full over there but it's cool to know there's a series like this. Maybe this time next year I'll be ready. GT6!

Just a little heads up, there will be a season 3 of the wec which you will be able to run in (it will be on Saturdays and every 2 weeks) and there will be more than enough space for you, so if you keep an eye out for it and give the wec gte cars (the wec not the feeder) a go then when season 3 is launched (in march) you will be ready for war lol

memto I imagine the triple WEC series you're talking about will be for GT6... Cause GT5 time is runing out!

That is correct mate, and the launch will be in march so it may even be on ps4

Memto, I have a feeling that GT6 on PS4 is something at least a year away. Choices in March will be GT6 on PS3 or something else ( Drive? ) on PS4

If its on ps3 then it will be on ps3, but if ps4 is out and everyone is running the same platform then it will be ps4

Eyes peeled.

Drivers Brief

Circuit: Special Stage Route 5
Laps: 92 + Pace lap
Weather: Night

Circuit Rules:

+) Race Start: Rolling start like normal, pole sitter will accelerate away at any point when they reach the grid slots and when they do so I shall call green over the headset for the rest of the field.

+) Pit Entry, Is straight forward around here, only thing to note is the try and stay wide if there is another racer around you as swinging across the track can cause an accident.

+) Pit Exit, Please do not swing across the track when exiting the pits, there may be someone coming up behind and it will be a very big accident if you do so.

+) GTE cars, HOLD YOUR LINE! there were several incidents with LMP1 cars and GTE cars due to a failure to do this, If you are going to move over make your actions clear very early, I can appreciate getting out of the way can be difficult, BUT! that isn't your job, It is the LMP1 drivers job to get by you cleanly without contact, and due to people trying to do the "right" thing its caused more issues then needed.

+) Driving with damage, If you sustain damage during the race go at a pace which will not cause you to drive erratically, you will lose more time by trying to rush back to the pits and possibly cause an accident.

I certainly am. On the exit of the last corner are we to stay on the track side of the white line?

EDIT: This is a two hour yes?

It is a 2h yes and as for the track limits the walls are the limit, you can't exceed those lol
