Is there going to be a change in the car list then?

Answer for this is if there is to be a change in cars it will be after round 2, i want to see how people do with getting to know the cars better, if people still struggle then there will be a change of car, but it will be an increased field not a drop of cars

It was said and typed in the room before the race many times, i have asked people to clarify that i did say it and they confirm that i had done many time. it is 40 mins on the meds but it does not count the warm up lap as time on the tyre. The reason why its time limited is that it does indeed mean that people have to take into account how long the start lap was and how they will play out their strategy, the whole idea behind this is that this is a feeder series to the WEC where there is alot more going on than here and it gets people into the right mind set for the WEC.

The race laps was a miscommunication between myself and dave and will not be happening again, i am aware that the race was to short and it was picked up on the moment the race finished.

Ok but at the start I typed in that I could not hear what was been said properly with all the car engines. If it was typed in then I must have missed that when not at the Playstation. All this should be typed in the rules and not in the message box in the lobby. When a few messages are added you then can't see what was wrote earlier.

Also, my full time on the meds was 40mins and 57sec,(fact). If you take away 2mins 35sec,(pace lap). That gives you a time of 38mins 22sec. 40mins minus 38min 22sec is 1min 38 sec, not 1min 50sec. Could you please correct.

HE STATED IN CHAT AND TEXT THAT PACE LAP DIDNT COUNT! Get over it and stop whining about the penalty. Sure you stuffed up. Get over it and make sure it doesnt happen again? Problem solved. Or just use a timer like i did, and set it for 43 minutes just to be safe.

Ok first of all, this is a brand new series, all the issues are not going to be ironed out yet, the rule is written in there now. Second thing is im sorry if you are having audio problems but that is not my issue, alot of information will be passed on about the races over headset on the build up, it was typed and said and even repeated in the part in-between qualifying and the race.

The reason for my rather abrupt response is that it has been said time and time again that if you have an issue please PM me and i will be happy to answer. Please in future PM me and not post it on the thread.

And last thing is yes i did make a mistake with the finishing time, that i do apologise and it has been sorted out now.

There is an option to adjust the in game SFX so that you can do this, I have mine set to about 30/100. It's located on the base menu under options, and I think you can even adjust it on track now too.

I am getting 1:22:8 on Racing Soft but any faster and I cannot stop from launching into space after the 2nd turn, the rest of the lap I don't have enough power, mostly flat out.......

How do you do it??????

On another note, I went out on the GSXR 750 with a friend today and got a good "Wriggle on", that is Aussie for "Fanging it"....... that is also Aussie for going VERY fast!
The twist grip was really twisted.

I love GT5 but there is a significant disconnect that happens as the physical pounding and vehicle feedback is not there. Before I stop racing motorcycles I have to invest in a proper simulator! I went out in the car the other day to "Fang it" and after a couple of hours of "Spirited Driving" in the Adelaide Hills even my ribs hurt from being buffeted by the seat. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE BEING ON THE EDGE OF GRIP IN A MOUNTAIN PASS TO GET THE JUICES FLOWING.

One of my friends has a PROPER driving simulator and it gets very close to the real thing except you don't go to Hospital if you get it wrong.......

Not sure whether LMP or GTE yet, probably LMP if that's OK? I would have today part time as it is impossible to predict my work roster, I will attend as many races as possible though.

Really enjoyed watching the full series race today, I got a good feel for how you guys work things and also (when not powernapping) got to see some great racing 👍

These are the mandatory regulations​

Headsets can be used during testing and before qualifying, the room organiser will state when headsets must be turned off

Spec checks will be enforced just before qualifying, anyone caught changing their cars after spec check will be disqualified instantly from the event

Qualifying will be a 15 minute session followed by the race countdown timer for all circuits, except for longer special events, in which will have a 20 minute qualifying followed by a 5 minute break for you to sort your food, fluid and bathroom commitments for an endurance event.
Also, the field will not be cleansed after qualifying, so if you are in an LMP car and have a horrible run you cannot expect to be bumped up to the back of the LMP field, you will start where your qualifying time dictates.

Race distance for most events will be approximately 2 hours

Circuit: Trial Mountain,
Laps: 96 (1 Warm up lap)
Damage: Heavy

Warm up lap, Please Maintain a suitable gap behind the car in front of you, somewhere around where you can easily grid up yet have enough space to stop if needed, Tailgating will be penalized as will being tardy,

Remember that 40 minutes must be spent on the harder tire,

There is now a restart policy, There must be a minimum of 40% of the race distance to complete, a steward will post on the thread if there is a mass DC that requires a restart, there is 15 minutes allowed for you to clear your cache and reset your router and re join, from this point you will only be require to use the soft tire,

The race will be held in memto89 lobby, so any new comers and anyone else wishing to participate will require to send an FR to memto89 PSN account,

GT Cars, remember you are not required to move over for the LMP car, they must find their way around you, as in real life,
