I do apologise, I was not aware of the two extra spots... Which cars you going for?

Not decided yet, But before they are published they will be checked by Memto and jonnyb, to ensure they aren't unfair, they are happy with most of the current cars,

I'll take the bmw v12 lmr in lmp or mercedes clk-lm if you can fit it into gt

Can you make 5:30AM Sunday mornings?

In a 542 hp and 900 kg BMW I can get a in the low 1:10's or high 1:09's. I have also have a setup I think i'll be pretty consistent in where I can put my foot down out of a corner with no wheel spin. It also has a lot of understeer but its easy to drive once you get used to it.

I will test it out and see where I stand. I know I could do 1:10s with the RX-7 TC. So I think 1:08s shouldnt be a problem.

I've now put some laps in on mediums and I can get mid 1:09's in the BMW. Also I got mid 10's with the Peugeot.

we have the BMW at 533hp 930kg as it is a rapid car

The target laptime in the LMP is about 1.04.5, if you cant kock off a lot of lap time i might suggest going in the GTE class

Can someone look into specs for an Audi R8 prototype?

the R8 we think is about 533hp 950kg and that pushes into the 1.03

Bare with us guys, all spec's "should" be finalized by 8PM GMT today,

Welcome to the World Endurance Championship, Taking sign ups,

HOW THINGS WORK

Room will open between 6:370PM GMT and 7PM GMT Saturday evening, The room will be hosted by either myself TDZdave or Memto89,

LMP and GTE Multiclass event, 8 Cars per class, Races would last around an hour and 15 minutes too an hour 30 minutes, with 2 Endurance races, Lasting around 2 hours 30 minutes,

Qualifying, will be a 15 minute session followed by the race countdown timer for all circuits, Except Spa Francorchamps and Le Mans, In which will have a 20 minute qualifying followed by a 5 minute break for you to sort your food, fluid and bathroom commitments for an endurance event,
Also, The field will not be cleansed after qualifying, So if you are in an LMP car and have a horible run you cannot expect to be bumped up to the back of the LMP field, you will start where your qualifying time dictates,

Laps will be worked out to around the 1 hour 10 minute mark according to the LMP pole time, For Spa Francorchamps and Le Mans the laps will be sorted to the LMP pole time to the value of 2 hours 30 minutes,

Tires are going to be something to think about, Each car will be allocated this
1 X Soft
2 X Medium
2 X Hard
Each compound must be used during the event, However, what set you use in qualifying will be eliminated from your set, This is to bring some strategy, This goes for both categories,

The Races, All races will have 1 full pace lap, Spa Francorchamps and Le Mans will not, Then all cars will fan out to a 2 by 2 file and will not go until the lead 2 reach painted grid slot 1 and the start/ finish line,
(Due to the long lap at Spa and Le Mans We may just turn around from the start line, Go backwards around the course and grid up then roll,)
(Also may do the traditional Le Mans standing start at Le Mans)

Overtaking and lapping,
Be patient, overtaking points will come, You will never win the race on lap 1,
Lapping, GTE cars will be expected to maintain their line, It is up to their discretion to get out of an LMP cars way, "removing" them from the circuit will result in a penalty,

This is a championship, Points will only be awarded for top 5 only in each class, Bonus points maybe awarded for, Class Pole Position, class fastest lap, And class most laps led, and leading a lap at the start line,
Points are in this order
1st) 5
2nd) 4
3rd) 3
4th) 2
5th) 1
1 Point for pole and 1 for fastest lap of the race (Each category)

Penalties will be dealt with accordingly, By myself (TDZdave) or the other host (Memto89) We may not colaberate on decisions, And our decisions are final! Do not argue as you will be removed!
Also, Do not arrive in a "Hybrid" or "Hacked" vehicle, you will be removed on the spot! NO EXCEPTIONS!

OK Gent's all things are sorted, Practice round tomorrow if anyone is interested,

We ran all cars, And went with the closest results to each driver, If all can attend tomorrows practice race we can adjust acording to each driver,

I think a little ballast system could be in place if a car is going faster. Instead of making it driver based where each car is affected whoever uses it. So you could do that in-season like they do in the WEC. They'll give breaks or weight penalties depending on the performance of the cars- BOP. By the way, I'm doing 1:06's on mediums with the R10 so far, and can we NOT do Fuji GT but instead Fuji F like the WEC does irl?

I think the ballast system would be fair because I would have no chance of winning without one because I can't drive too well with a controller.

I have a controller too. Takes some practice with either controller or wheel. If you need a setup I can help you out with one that I run.

5:30AM for us F1,

As for success ballast, I'm not a fan of it, Its a lot of extra work to keep track of that I don't have the time for, And by specing the cars to the driver will give the people that struggle at deep forrest an advantage when it comes to Le Mans or Monza,

The practice race is more to balance it to everyone's requirements, As you can see by the spec's some of the cars have already been ballast for the particular driver,

If anyone hasnt already then add me (memto89) on psn.... i will be opening the lounge at about 7PM GMT and we shall get a bit of testing in before the race starts.... The test race will be in Daytona!!!!

We are Cutting to 2 remaining LMP cars and sign up for LMP is now closed... any remaning drivers who have not signed up for a car will HAVE TO chose a GTE

Erm, for the endurance races, are we limited to the same number of tyres or do we get an extra set of each tyre compound?
