Just picked one up in the UCD, not a great drifter out of the box, but it looks so lairy i couldnt resist. Will get some pics up tomorrow, but i was wondering if anyone else has given it a go and found a decent setup. I've just slapped on some more camber and a mid-range turbo plus oil change/engine rebuild/rigidity refresh and stiffened the rear diff and it slides quite nicely with comfort softs (my main drift tyre)
Also, Hello!
Ive been lurking for a while and there does seem to be some excellent advice inbetween the usual forum madness so i thought id sign up and have some input.
Ive got countless drift machines from S body nissans to RX7s new and old to carltons to a 240 GLT.
Ill drift anything with power going to the rear, or have a sodding good try atleast.
I understand where everyone is coming from (from both sides) regarding 4WD drifting, and i do enjoy chucking comfort hards on the escort cossie and having a slide, but its not 'drifting' guys n gals, it does look mighty impressive when executed correctly with full on backwards entries, smoke pouring from all 4 tyres scrabbling for grip.
Anyways, Happy sliding everyone.👍
