Just read that the winners for R1 wont be announced until January 30th. =( And I was hoping Id have my DFGT to use for upcoming rounds. Oh well.

I just didn't put enough time in the comfort soft rounds. 2 or 3 sittings at both I believe, and the Tsukuba sessions were short ones at that. Rome I did twice the first day, then again a couple days ago. Hopefully I can stay in the top 10 until next Monday. 👍Congrats to all the winners though. Well deserved guys!

Wait a sec guys, R1 is officially over and the top 128 are able to move on to R2?!?! damn that sucks. I just bought a DFGT this past weekend because I noticed R1 for GT Academy was going to be open until 1/4/10 so I figured that meant we had until then to post our fastest times, and then I see that they changed the time open 12/20/10 - 1/24/10. I can't believe its over, I was at 551 accross the 3 time trails for midwest, and know I could shave off an easy 5 sec on the 3rd map.

Haha Dapper man, I just realized that. I actually went to look the rules up and see it was just prizes being released, so phew I'm good. Gotta get down a few spots, I have plenty of time to take off of the 3rd map, only ran it a few times, so I think I can get closer to the top 128, but we'll see, you guys are damn good. Specially Choate51, man he's amazing, watch his ghost on Rome, its a pretty sexy run.

No. You must qualify for the subsequent round by registering and posting a combined lap time within the top 128 of your respective region.
