Woot my first race as Div 1 and im first, though once hugo, kent, CFM and olderbrother run the same car as me i dont think i would win again.

Congrats to all, i did have an arcade mini time of 6:20.xxx however i didnt really want to submit it.

Personally...

I'm stoked about a few things.

Even though I didn't max out my potential in the Castrol Supra, I still managed to put a respectable time up compared to the other densos at the gt3times record db.

Also,
I got the top street car time with a great 500hp skyline that hit exactly 500hp!
Sports intercooler and sports exhaust!

Felt like a great car too but only got to spend 1 day (today) in it.

Oh well.
I still like the lap though.

Any way, Great work by all of you.

I guess I was double-king of the Mini this week.

Did Sphinx submit a time or did he miss the deadline? I really wanted to see how his Arcade Mini time stacked up. And somehow I managed to get one over Ron, but I have no idea how. I guess when he said he messed up the last sector, he meant it!

I'll get my replays up by tomorrow, and am looking forward to checking out most of the NTSC replays.

Yes I be in the Escudo Kent Full mod . I’ve added another faster time in the zip that I was going to submit but after looking at it in the front view it seems awfully close to being off whereby I can’t tell because the wheels are not visible. I’ve include it and if anyone wants to verify it for me an it looks ok I’ll submit it to a worthy database. 👍

Hugo’s time is what I was realistically shooting for but found it too difficult to make happen clean in the allotted time available although I did see one 3’32.8 with 3 wheels off in two locations. . oh well. . dems da breaks

Grates to all who took an interest in attempting to get the best time possible for their car and did! I tried. . believe me!
I’d probably go for the ultimate time which I believe today is somewhere right under 3’30 if gt4 wan’t coming soon

Actually small fryz. . you did very good considering I’d probably get the same time as you. . not a whole lot faster anyway. . I’m not very effective in an F1 car.

Mondays are bad for me I guess. I'll have to start submitting times on Sunday or know for sure I don't have stuff to do on Monday.

I didn't have a super spectacular run in any one car anyways. I was having too much fun trying them all. 👍

Too right I messed up the last section halfway through the slalom I lost the rythm and the car skidded sideways and losts pure speed ... I just couldn't be bothered racing it anymore as it's such a long track ... I just wanted to get a clean lap in.

Nice win in the mini CFM 👍

Hey small fryz, thanks for getting bumped to division 1. I never would have imagined I would get the division 2 win. I guess thats what car choice does for you. I wasent about to screw myself after using the S2000 last week vs all the corvets and mustangs. Not bad for my second week. Yay 94/s!

So now that the week is over any of you top guys want to share your settings. I know thats whats holding me back, as i have none. If I cant learn how to tune these things right I'll never get any faster.

Kent, you tested both Supra's? In arcade I always experienced the Castrol faster on tracks with long straights, but you simply might have driven a sweet lap
I simply picked the Denso because that's the most common Supra to use. Also the standard settings are pretty good on the Supra, I drove a 3'34.5 during my first laps with only the gears and df adjusted. Disappointing how little I could improve after spending quite some time on the settings

I'll post my replays within a few hours. Analyzer data will be thursday, unless someone is willing to distract them from my replay...

What settings do you want excatly?

Anything for the 94/s. trust me I got nothin! any tid bits you drop should improve my time. I'd like to duplicate one of the F1s above just for the fun of it and maybe learn something about settings in the process. Just to see how close (or far) I come to the top times with some proper settings. My f1 is just lowered and stifened, and everything else is generaly put to one extreem or the other. I want to see how much time I'm losing to my settings.

p.s. next week should be good.

I was surprised I did so well (for myself...)!

This track was a pain in the ass and it took me a while to get used to it (last time I raced this track was almost two years ago!)... And I started with three cars from scratch, doing all the tuning from scratch too.

All my cars are full modded; the Elise only had the 1-way LSD and the Suzuki had no LSD (too weak for one).

Ironically the Suzuki, slowest and weakest of all cars I raced, was the hardest to race... it slows down too slow with no brakes and too fast with the brakes... and I couldn't tune th brakes down too much because sometimes I needed it strong. Also, the Alto tends to turn too quickly and wander on a straight line...

The Elise took sometime too, as at first every time I touched a rumble strip it wanted to spin... A few spins later and i started learning to avoid spinning while at the same time still being able to use the rumble strips...

In the end this monster race was fun and I tuned three cars fom scratch.

I can't wait wait to race week 101... 👍

Congrats to SmallFryz, his commitment is contagious.My own F1 lap stunck to high heaven!! Two GT`ones(congrats to them too) in front of me, and Hugos Denso just marginally slower .

Im happy to see Kent dead-ahead of my M.sport Elise with the 500hp Skyline, U had to get the Godzilla to get that nimble and fine machinery`o mine

And Hugos sideways sorry; just seemed familiar

Sphinx didn't submit his time, but he came over on friday evening and showed me his time. Can't remember the exact time but it was roughlty 6:14:xxx

Just a few thoughts...

First...

I used the castrol supra for one reason...
I like the way it looks!
It is my favorite car in GT3 and was my fav in gt1 & 2!

Just running it that fast was an accomplishment to me.

Next on my list of thoughts. 💡

The Motor sport elise is a monster at full mod!

Only 500hp in the R-tune gives it a pwr around 2.6 or 2.7.

I'm suprised that I could even come close to keeping up, but still... Thanks for noticing my lap.

Same goes for you too hugo regarding my castrol.
I know the denso is faster but on a course like this it is more about driver and feeling than car and stats!

btw, regarding settings...

I knew that Fryz would have beaten me after his last improvement, I had the suspicion that he blasted those S turns before the finish line, through out the week I just couldn't figure out what was the best way to go at a nice speed through teem, anyways, very nice lap Fryz 👍

And I'm excited because I beat some F1's with my GT-One

And I got the third at mini race, wow when Ron said he messed up the last section he really mean it!, yikes, anyways nice laps from both of you 👍

Now to read that strange titled topic of the week 101

EDIT: Oh I forgot to add I did a 3'11.898 on the F1, but after watching the replay, 3 tires came out on the 90 degree turns section, I was dissapointed

And for the record, with the Lancer Evo VII GSR I made a time of 4'18.389, fully modded.
