Wow!

Some fast lap times this week, and some close competition to go along with it.

First place overall goes to cinjun8 and his last second submission. :grumpy:
First place in division 2 goes to HighonPSI who takes an amazingly close win with only .010 to spare.
Finally, CarDude2004 makes his opening appearance a great one, stick with it buddy.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the race!

This week also marks the first signs of some promotions announced earlier in the day.
Ev0 is now div 1 and Flerbizky & rollazn are now div 2, I hope you guys can continue to do well in your new divisions.

Also, take note of some of the non-787 times... great work Famine. 👍

Now, as usual, please post all replays and analyzer data in this thread.

I hope to see you all in next week's race.
Until then,
Later. :D

Oh, and of course, here's my replay from this week, as well as my RGT lap from last week. :sly:

My time's not up there. :(
I sent a PM at 11:58. GT3mich was logged in as me at his house and sent his time from my account, so maybe that's what caused the error... I used the 787B.

Also, congrats to Mr P and Missing Link for their stunning times, as well as nice times from the rest of the field. 👍

Kent did not forget my time .
I raced home to meet the deadline and got lost in the shuffle.
Very sorry Kent.
It wont happen again.

WOW!
11 people within 3 tenths in D2!
That's just awesome! Great racing guys!

Congrats to all the podium finishers in each division. 👍

:? The deadline is 12:00 CST. If you want my times earlier, you should change the deadline. I'm following the rules. And the time I got was finished 2 minutes before I submitted it; it's not as if I was saving it for hours. And thanks for the insult. 👎

I agree with this... so long as the posted deadline is 0000 CST, and the PM or email is stamped 2359:59 or earlier, it is legitimately in.

I do understand the aggrevation of recieving a plethora of entires right in those last 5 minutes, but that is what deadlines are for.

Replay shortly.

All right.

I am sorry and I apologize.

Alright, I got 1st place, well from the back.
I could have squeezed in under 1'06, but I didn't have enough interest.
I left some stuff in the turn before t2 and the last turn.

Good job to Famine and the fast people

Apology accepted.

Here's my replay in MaxDrive format. My new PS2 doesn't read my Sharkport disk, so I have to hook up my old PS2 for that if anyone really wants to see it, but there's plenty of faster laps for all you X-Porters. ;)

Hey, Kent.... no need to worry of such things, you just have to realize, if racers are going to wait until the very last minute to submit, they can also wait until tomorrow to get their results.

Or maybe move the deadline to 11 or 10 PM CST, then you will have time to collect last minute racers times, and get them up before you have to go to bed? The thing to remember is that you get to dictate the rules to the crowd, and a rule change is always acceptable, especially when clearly outlined for everyone to see. :D Especially since you are the start and end of the weekly race series, you are the one whom has to be OK with the operating procedures. ;)

No worries mate, you are doing a fine job running the series!

I agree with TML's suggestions and thought's on the matter.

Change the deadline time, maybe even make it Sunday at midnight and take Monday off to tally the results?

Your doing a great job with the series, look at how many people raced this week!
We'd hate to burn you out, so I'm sure all the racers can handle a little time adjusting to better suit your schedule or make it easier on you.

I'm sure we'll all stand behind you whatever you decide. 👍

Also, just remember that the ocassional little problems that arise are a tiny part of the big picture. The big picture is that you run the most successful and funnest series in GT3 history.

Wow 35 racers. That sure was a popular race you came up with, Kent. 👍

Maybe the upcoming Board Challenge also spiced things a bit up. I don't remember ever seeing so many racers in first division, and so many second division guys running first division times. 👍 That board challenge will be a blast to follow. :D

Congrats to Cinjun8, missing link and Mr P for breaking the minute barrier. Truly amazing.

And congrats to HighonPSI, HareTurtle and ed99 for some very honorable podiums in very competitive second division.

Welcome and enjoy your first division win, CarDude2004. Stick to it and more will follow. 👍

Thumbs up to Ev0, Flerbizky and rollazn for their well deserved promotions. 👍

Hey, PSI, you lost a fair bit of time, which is easy to do in this course, in the last sector. My T2 was 36.8xx I'm guessing you may have over turned and scrubbed off too much speed. Man, I wish cars behaved for me like they do for Mr. P.

Sunday's a potential problem for the religious, and Friday and Saturday are partying days for some. But I think it's simpler to just stick with one time zone in consideration. I believe most attend church in the morning, and my suggestion is to use GMT.

6 pm GMT, Sunday. That's 1pm Eastern US.

I suck... I wanna be in Div.3 again :grumpy:

Replay (if anyone's interested) when I get home.... And I knew the sub 1 was out there - I only I'd had a lot more time this week....

Good job to Famine and the fast people

So I'm not a fast person now? Bastard.

There was another half second there, but I was too drunk. Besides, I think we all know by now - Arcade S-Class means I'm in the 12.

Well done guys, fantastic racing as usual 👍 Congrats to all the podium finishers.

@Talentless - I lost my time on the last turn, braked way to early and hard.Only had 1/2 hour to run this one so im pretty pleased with the time i made ;)

I'll post my replay later today

Also well done to the guys who got promoted.

I was talking more about the people running the 787B.

And I like the time zone of the deadline, since I'm in the Central one.

I thought I'd do a bit better than that :grumpy:

Im at work now but will post my replay tonight for you to pick holes at. There are several corners where I go too wide and lose a lot of time but getting a quick lap and a good lap is difficult Im sure you'd agree.

LOL at Famine also - you are in a different class of fast now !!

Lot's of submissions this week 👍

Good job all finishers, and congrats to the podium guys:cheers:

I think it's time I was moved down into division 2 Kent ;)

I want Division 2 Status also :scared: Throbbing old battered up useless thumb syndrome for 3rd place ... hardly worth the change of format to NTSC :yuck:

Congrats to the fast guys :ouch: and Congrats to all Division winners:cheers:

Close racing guys, I'm surprised at how many people submitted times! But overall, I knew that the winners would be lapping at under 1 minute, so I set that for my goal for the week, but obviously came up short on what was a very lofty goal. Unless I want my thumb to become as deformed as Mr P's, I think a GT Force Pro is in my future...

Congrats to Ferbizky and rollazn on their promotions to Div 2!

*edit* I was running in a 787B if anyone is wondering

Wow congrats all on those super fast times ! argh, 0.012 away from 1st !.

I'll put me replay up in a bit 👍 .

Excellent race choice Gokents 👍

And finally congratulations to all the people above me on the podium :dopey: .
