I have a video of the cops trying to pull over a Black Carlton and it escapes with ease. I bought one right when I saw it in the used lot becuase it reminded me of the one in the video.

That's an old one. I bought the Carlton just to see how fast it would go, and to use in a car comparison... then I kept it because I loved it. It's a terrific old-school kind of car, power-slides, drifts, burn-outs...
