:)

Well that is one hell of a turn out for the amatuer and beginner classes.

Good job fellas, and nice time there odp. On most of my runs it was somewhere in the 15/16 range, but I only got to test with cars rather than run sessions for a final time.

Sorry not to turn one in, but I am kinda burning out on competition racing.

Good racing to all of you guys.

btw, I really loved testing the rgt with an na tune, that thing was awesome. (just fun to drive... not the fastest)

Tell me about it. it looks like when the series first started up. hehe, great to see so many new faces in here. Great times by everyone too, my RX7 did fairly well :) I love driving that car, thats why I chose it, it was nice to have a choice this week, after my race w/ the board comp I just wanted to drive somthing I knew i could handle well, and the RX7 definently fits the bill, probably my favorite "street" car in the game, next to the rx8

Well.. I suppose I can't win all the time eh....

So I will have to be happy with second. Nice times there guys. Wish I had've spent less time messing with other cars, and more running the faster cars now.. Oh well... Not to matter.

For interest, the 1:10 T3 that I ran was with a poor little 4x4 K car... I love those little things, and just wanted to show that they could've been competitive.. Just needed a little more power to get closer to the 2.2, but I don't think that an 8-9 sec loss to T3 was too bad. Oh well... Congrats again to the winners, have to push harder next week and try to win again...

Woo Hooooooo :D :D :D :D

Thanks, I had a 1,14.844 which I was going to submit but I'm glad I put the little extra effort. and I'm also glad that the XJ220 took top position in the Pro and amatuer division ;)

no real time to practice over the weekend, so I ended up submitting my time from thurs last week...
I deserve lines for that time...!!!!

I must try harder.
I must try harder.
I must try harder.
I must try harder.
I must try harder.
I must try harder.
I must try harder.
I must try harder.
I must try harder.
I must try harder.

I think my knowledge of the all cars in GT3 is letting me down, not having done any OLR before... I've only really used the ones I've had to to do the game... so I reckon I'll struggle for this week too possibly... hopefully there'll be more time to practice though...

Not like this was a priority for me but you did manage to make me finish worse in the amateur division than in my boards challenge race heheh. So a special congrats to noojra and DSMAZ

Damn,
All the time I spent on this, only to have my monitor burn up last night.Oh well,I did good.Really good.So I'm happy.(So thats what the Degauss button was for(?)
Nice turnout this week! Good job ODP,Noojra,Flerbizky.

Later,

Hey ODP, you have to take off the --> ' <-- from your filename when uploading. So now you have "gt3 odp week35 1'14.293.xps" , but because of the --> ' <-- ,when you go to download the file, it doesnt display the full name. All it says is "Attachment" and you click save. ( you can always rename when you are saving, or after also. ) Easy way to fix this is to rename the file before uploading.

e.g. "ODP Week 35 1.14.293.xps"
This will download as is, no renaming needed afterwards. Reason why I know this, is because I spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out what was happening when I uploaded one my replays once :embarrassed:

Hey there ODP... as a follow up to T13R... having the --> \ <-- there also makes windows expect a directory named with all the text before it...anyway... thanks for the replay file, I'll be having a look soon... :)

take care, be good...

EDIT: with only 2 downloads... it looks like it's only T13R and me that has tried downloading it...!!... do the others here not have sharkports/xports..??... or not want to see how it's done...???

Well the reason why the --> \ <-- is there, is because of the --> ' <--
I have tried uploading some replays as say "T13R week 36 1'16.332.sps" Once its done uploading, GTPlanet will display it as "T13R week 36 1\'16.322.sps" So as long as there is no apostrophy in the file, there should be no problems.

Hmm now THIS is weird... I put the slash in between 1 and '16 above, but when I posted, the slash disappeared  This is what I typed, and you can see the slash is there the second time I wrote 1'16.322... but not in my posted message

Edit: Time to open up an X-File

dang, I haven't had the courage to say much of anything about this until now (kinda a little mad; didn't want to let my tongue slip). This is what I call an unfairness; I could've won this week if I had just raced a little harder! Also, I used the XJ220...

Thanks Tier. 👍
It seems that the board doesn't like file names with a bunch of decimals. I kept getting 1(1)14.293 or 1.14(1)293 as the save name.

@Jpec07:
What?
I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to say.
My first impression is that you're saying something which goes unsaid. "If I had gone faster I would have won". :odd:
I don't see how that is unfair.
