Weekly Race Series, Week 40 - RESULTS!!!

Great racing everyone!

Some really close times!

CFM and GT3mich with a real barn burner of a race. Seperated by a C hair. but the win goes to GT3mich. Congrats.

One hell of a race in Division 2 where VG30DETT takes the top honors! Way to go man. And tight racing in that division yet again.

Same as Division 3! Some great times coming out of this now highly competitive division. Great racing gents! And top honors to gt4 for a splendid run as well as codered who was nipping closely at his heels.

I like these hot lap competitions.....I find the multi-lapped races take too much time and is a lot harder to fine tune your mistakes..

i also enjoy how on this one there was no real tuning the settings. it was just equip you parts and go. plus this one seemed to have a pretty good variety.

I had two replays..... One was about two tenths slower than the submitted time, and I forgot which one I uploaded. This one, I'm positive is the right one, if the other one shows a different time.

This is now official.... I totally totally lost track of time yesterday and ended up playing THUG for hours and then fell asleep on the sofa and forgot to send my time in (not that is was up to much but there ya go).

WOW very competitive this week, I figured the results would be close Lots of great runs from lots of guys! GT4 in beginner, Danoff with a smokin' run in the Camaro, and great runs from the 4 guys running with the Miata, it would have been a contender if the springs were stiffer. Good to see Luxy and Talentless around agian also

Here's my replay, this is one of the smoothest runs I've had in a while, virtually no mistakes and beautiful to watch. It could have been a bit faster but who cares. Through the final chicanes I am mere millimeters away from the walls, you couldn't even stick a piece of paper in there

how did i ever wind up in Div 1? I'm not complaining, i just don't think i deserve to be there. The two weeks i've competed i've had results in the middle of Div 2.

this is totally fun though.

Ever since the first few weeks of the series some of the Div 2 drivers always finish ahead of some of the Div. 1 drivers. So no worries mate. It just looks worse because so many Div 1 drivers have not been competing recently. Even if you come in last, you still have the honor of being one of "THE ELITE" Maybe VG30DETT would wanna trade spots with you

Great runs by all. Especially all those sub 1:28 runs. I must say that Talentless was the reason I kept at this race. His T1 time was very fast. Now on to Division1. Boom made a mistake in the times. I ran a 1:27.559 just nipping CFM at the finish. Now off to watch CFM's replay. Here's mine.

Correction: I am 5th somewhere, not overall.

Frankly, CFM, I'm very upset. I just don't understand this game. It seems to punish everything I try.

I put a lot into it, my right hand in pain, and I'm .8 or so off. I can't stand it. I, too, come near the walls, yet it doesn't matter.

4 hp can't account for 0.8.

I'm almost convinced that I could drag a stock car and be down .4 to someone else, using auto.

well, good things happened recently, so I'll think of those. got my first more or less mainstream music cd. the cult-love album. pretty good. rain is the best song.

Talentless, Don't be too upset. The last combo of the lap is the hardest to get right. I threw away many fast laps because my car was out of the right position. Maybe my replay can help a bit...

Can't. Don't have one, and not likely to get one. Didn't work well when I did. Either I need a new ps2 or sony has some issue even with the sharkport, or the company that makes it needs to fix it. x-port, whatever.

Congrats to all the top winners, this week was a very fun and tight race, I cant believe VG30's time, I thought mine was the fastest

For talentless, the key..well for me...to get the S turn at the end of this track is braking before you start the S turn, then going at full throttle on 4th gear through all the first two corners(I guess it's obvious you have to take those two turns as inside as you can) and on the 3rd turn, brake a little(up to low 4th gear or high 3rd gear) and try to do a power slide on it...that's how I did it, I am sorry I dont have a replay to show..damn I want that xport!
