When trying to lose weight, sometimes all you need is a little motivation to keep going. That or some friendly competition.
That said, I invite all those interested in shedding a few (or more than a few) pounds to post their weights, preferably weekly. Being "accountable" to someone does wonders for keeping you on track, even (or especially) if they are complete strangers.
It also wouldn't be a bad idea to post your goal weight, with intermediate goals, if necessary.
At my heaviest, I clocked in at 207. As of 2 weeks ago I was down to 197 just by watching what I was eating, but I'd been stalled there for a few months. I wasn't going up or down, just plateaued. Then ten days ago I got incredibly sick with the flu and lost 9 pounds in 4 days. I'm using that as a springboard to continuing the weight loss. My ultimate goal is somewhere around 175-180, but that all depends on how much muscle gets added in the process.
