I was competing in the Tokyo R246 300km race in my Minolta Toyota 88-CV and obviously was way out in front by lap 20 (I really wanted the FTO prize car ). So after pitting on lap 21 I decided to hand over to my co-driver B-Spec Bob who could complete the rest of the race because I had other things to do. So I switched to B spec, pitted, set the race speed to '3' and walked into another room. Soon afterwards I walked back in the room to see Bob pitting on lap 39 took one look at the screen and thought 'what the'!!!! My Minolta was in the pitbox with the crew changing tires, putting in fuel-or normal you know EXCEPT THE CAR WAS SITTING ON ITS NOSE-THE CAR WAS VERTICAL!! What!!!! Several seconds later the car fell down and everything was all normal, the car took off out of pitlane and it was back to racing. Pretty weird never seen this before!! Anyone seen this before??
