I was competing in the Tokyo R246 300km race in my Minolta Toyota 88-CV and obviously was way out in front by lap 20 (I really wanted the FTO prize car :)). So after pitting on lap 21 I decided to hand over to my co-driver B-Spec Bob who could complete the rest of the race because I had other things to do. So I switched to B spec, pitted, set the race speed to '3' and walked into another room. Soon afterwards I walked back in the room to see Bob pitting on lap 39 took one look at the screen and thought 'what the'!!!! My Minolta was in the pitbox with the crew changing tires, putting in fuel-or normal you know EXCEPT THE CAR WAS SITTING ON ITS NOSE-THE CAR WAS VERTICAL!! :scared: What!!!! Several seconds later the car fell down and everything was all normal, the car took off out of pitlane and it was back to racing. Pretty weird never seen this before!! Anyone seen this before??

[oldman voice]In all my years of gran turismo, I've never seen anything like that!:D[/end voice]
But that's really wierd. Did you at least save the replay???? Now I have the urge to do that race in a minolta.

I saved the replay, I don't think I'll be able to put it up here though. I'll have another look at it later on but the camera angles when your in the pits are not the best though. Seriously weird!!

This has been discussed before, its just a glitch. Nothing really serious, but it was quite funny how it happened. Don't know which thread it was, but if you search far enough, you will find it. 👍

I'll help you out..

Thanks for the vid Madmax86, that's exactly what happened!! Sorry if it was a repost but of all the glitches in GT4 I had never seen it before so it was quite surprising!

That's normal. They're just having a look at the transmission cooler. and they have a really big floor jack to do it!

Just kidding. In GT1, I remember sliding across the finish line donut-style (I won at Clubman Route 5) and a Toyota MR2 rammed into me. But instead of crashing and spinning, the MR2 FLEW 40 FEET INTO THE AIR before landing back on the track.
