Wha? 30,000 dollar Supra?

What's all your takes on the concept of the New V6 225HP N/A or 320HP turbocharged Supra?.....I think it's going to be a potent engine, but still won't top the 2jz-gte....Although I'm not a big fan of that motor either.
 
I've seen pictures of it in the past, i'll look for them again....It's not like it's a completly revamped car..I remember that much

I'm a huge fan of that motor, or any other motor which can handle 1000+hp on completely stock internals with no problems.

There's so many rumors, and crap, about what the MKV will look like if they even have one. Everything I have seen so far is utter crap. They're some of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. You couldn't pay me to drive one... especially if it comes with a V6.:scared:

This page at suprastore says it'll only come in 3.0L, and 3.5L, N/A V6's. If that's true, I definitely would not drive one.

Josh..The supra doesn't handle 1000HP on stock internals buddy..It handles 600 and some change....1000HP is possible however on a stock bottom end.

Have you seen those vids with all of those arab people racing skylines and exotics and then bribing the police and then they keep going....cant understand a word but it looks cool!

yeah but what can you do...kazaa is getting bad too...too much re-naming files and people who dont share....plus DL speeds are crap...It took me 48 hrs to DL some stupid vid on kazaa and it only took me like 5 mins on Edonkey....so from now on I use edonkey...its faster...more people share...I have 137 people I'm Dling the matrix reloaded from while on Kazaa I got like 2...

It can, and does, handle that much hp for many Supra's on a daily basis. There are tons of single turbo'd Supra's at supraforums running 800+ with completely stock internals. Occasionally some poon will get aftermarket internals before running 500hp.:rolleyes: That doesn't mean it needs them. All of the HP KITS(460/575/700/800/900/1025hp) at suprastore come with everything needed to run the amount of hp said safely, and reliably. All they come with really is the turbo, fuel system, and an ECU, and possibly some cams for the higher hp kits. The only one that comes with new internals for the motor is the 1200hp kit, and the only reason it has them is because it's Titan's race motor. It comes with the Titan head(forged pistons, and billet connecting rods). Titan's level III motor also comes with aftermarket internals so it can rev safely to 9,500rpm.

There's a 750hp 6 speed for sale at suprastore. It lists all of its modifications, and guess what doesn't show up in that list? Hell, Mark Tozer's dyno'ed 902, or 915rwhp(1060+bhp), before they added the 272 cams, and Titan racing motor/head package.

Suprastore didn't write that article, and Saad Saad is not the owner of suprastore, and last time I checked... he has nothing to do with it, or anything that goes on there. Perhaps the person you're talking about is Mark Tozer?

Where does it say it did it on a stock engine???No where.....Second it makes 900RWHP With a fully built titan race motor and head.... 900RWHP from a fully built motor...Doesn't sound like they got close to 1000 on a stock motor buddy.

Funny, I see no kit on the site that produces 1000 HP here that is simply bolt on's..There appears to only be 2 kits for over 1000 HP and neither involve stock internals...

Well I bet the people at the forum can guess which of those come with the Cam..AKA Internal part

First off..Last time I checked a Titan head wouldn't include Forced pistons and billet connecting rods, because..They arn't parts to the head. And i'm sorry about YOUR reading comprehension level

See that....9000 not 9500, not only is your comprehension low..You can't COPY.

The fact that the 2 1000HP kits require new cams is proof that a 2jz-gte cannot handle 1000HP on stock internals..A stock bottom end yes..Stock internals? nah sorry guy.

Lol..Then Suprastore has their information criss crossed...Not even supra parts sellers can get their 2jz-gte schiet right..That's pathetic....And No other engine can produce and excess of 900HP on factory engine internals and still run 9+ seconds in the 1/4 mile...Think about it the Supra for sale, has 900+RWHP...Give him the benefit of the doubt and say he has a modified drivetrain, so it's only about 12% drivetrain loss so he has about!!!!!!! 1008 HP giver or take...And he run's 10.4......AWESOME!!!!!!! 10 second 1000 HP car..Doesn't get better than that..:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
