Afrer this test season I’m gonna try to find a new car that better suits my driving style. I’m gonna go for some hot laps and campare the data, but I don’t know what track I should focus on.

I’m talking mainly about circuits with a variety of different corners, elevations and rough stuff that really puts the car to the test.

What tracks would you recommend for this? Do you have a personal favorite that you always go to in order to try out a car?

Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa or perhaps Lake Maggiore is excellent for testing out both cars and tunes. A lot of variation and above all - fun!

Suzuka has always been my favorite. Has a great mix of corners. Entry to turn 1/2 is good for testing rotation/braking stability, and the long radius esses are good for testing transitions and mid corner grip on the throttle.

I dont think there is a "best track" to test a car.Different tracks favorite different cars.My choice would be VLN Nordschleife if I wanted to go and "test" run.Not because its a good test track, but because I enjoy it more there.

Nurburgring just because of my driving style. And even then I'm not really testing for the fastest car, I'm just testing for cars that feel fun on that course.

And to expand on that.. fun for me usually means rapid exits, manageably fun oversteer, suspension that doesn't skitter when the surface gets weird and an ability to hook onto curbs without freaking out.

Yeah, Suzuka seems like a good candidate. Lots of different challenges on that track. And it’s very fun to drive too.

Actually every different track can favor a different car as well. I would test the cars on whichever tracks I preferred to race on the most often.
