Well I was at a Radio Knobs Speakers and Things (Audio and lighting store) today and they were having a sale. I ended up getting super high output Eurolite head lamp bulb for 10 bucks! They were orginally 45 bucks. There so nice driving with em! So much visability.

here are some pictures.

I really like driving with them. It makes it a lot nicer on back roads.

Is it just me, or are those "blue" HID bulbs on the new BMW's awesome? Those things rock!

You know, I completely agree.

It does, doesn't it?

Of course I've got stock bi-xenon headlights on my BMW, but I've driven quite a few cars with similar lighting and I can honestly say that the Audi Allroad is by far the best - kickass lights.

Your look great, by the way, though I'm still on the fence about your car overall. :D

Well for exterior style I think I'm about done. The only other things I want is a billet grill and clear coners. I'm just getting a stock bumper. Forget about the custom bumper.

Ya I don't feel like installing it. Plus I need to buy 200 bucks worth of extra stuff.

ya I can't really find a grille I like. There is a tribal flame one but I don't feel like paying that mush for one.

I've agreed with you like six million times. You're one of the very few members with a 2003 join date to have a 'good' position in my mind.

When are your going to do performance mods, Blazin? Or are your just going to bolt on a bunch of fiber glass?

You do realise these aren't HID? They're normal Halogen lights with a coating of a different color on the bulb, and they'll wear out pretty quickly, too.

Nah, i just wanted to point out they're not real HIDs, just some "imitations" that can fail dramatically in a short period of time. They're pretty damn disturbing when you see them coming the other way on a highway (as are HIDs, but these "cool blue" or "hyper white" ones are even worse).

I never understood the principle of these lights. It's not like you're going to end up in a place where it's total darkness anyway, so why need lights that could clear up the valley of California?

I have to travel a ton of back roads at night. Its a lot easier to see now. I really like them. My brights suck since they don't really light things up to well. I know there not HID there just Hyper White bulbs...thats why they were 10 bucks.

As for mods I'm just getting the bumper and I'm going to wait a little longer on some mods. I really need some good tires before winter and some better brakes. The engine can wait.
