What am I doing wrong?

I had to retire my first Level 36 Bob a while ago because his bars degraded a lot. He only had 185 races under his belt and he didnt max out his experience bar. I now have to retire another Bob with only 164 races under his belt but he is at least level 40 but also didnt max out his experience bar.

I remember a member on here by the name of Wrecku I believe having a Bob with more than 1000 races and he didnt degrade yet. What am I doing wrong? I dont grind them as much as before since I dont play GT5 as much anymore but they keep dying early on me. I have 5 other level 40 guys but they are all under 100 races. Anyone figure out how to keep a Bob happy and healthy and live long?

I had the same problem. The only thing I can figure on this is that Bob's life is tied to game days as well as the number of races ran. I recently retired 4, all with about 400 races.

At least you made it to 400 lol. Ive never got one past 185. I wish PD actually had an instruction manual for this game that actually explained things in detail.

I ran Bob every night for 9 weeks straight. Wore out 4 Bobs but made it to lvl 40. There is a manual [for what it's worth] form the GT life menu in the lower left corner.

P.S.- My old 320g fatty survived the abuse, could swear I heard it sigh with relief!
