Hi. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on the best car to use car for these championships

Spider and Roadster (Beg. Hall)

Lightweight K-car Cup (Beg. Hall)

World Classics (Prof. Hall)

World Compact (Prof. Hall)

Thankyou for your help

I beat the K-car cup and World Compact with a modded Cappucino EA11R (w/c I bought since I'd just seen Project D eps. 11 & 12)
Stiill having trouble with World Classics since either the Buick Special or AC 427 come in and totally overpower me (and my poor KPGC10 "Hokosuka" GT-R).
Forgot what I used in Spider and Roadster cup though.

for the spider & roadster, I used a Honda S2000 type V that I bought at the used car lot...
I only did light weight stage 1. and I won...

I used Viper for roadster race, and capucchino for kei cup. I used it for compact class race also. in world classic race I used chevelle 454..

I bought an used Suzuki Capuccino '95 (EA21R I believe, it's got more torque) for both the Lightweight K-Car cup AND the Suzuki K-Car Cup. The latter gives you a Concept S-2, which you can use in the compact car cups.

For the Classic Car Cup, I used the Buick Special '62.

For Spider & Roadster I bought a second-hand TVR Griffith 500. 👍
For the Lightweight K-car is used the Fiat Abarth.
I didn't do the others yet.

Not sure they're the best, but here's what I used:

Spider & Roadster - TVR Griffith 500
Lightweight K - Autobianchi Abarth
World Classics - Merc Cougar (barely, the Buick Special was in there with me)
World Compact - Mazda Miata (cheap trick, I know, but it's under the length!)

If you wanna win with no trouble:
1 AC Cobra
2 Autobianchi
3 AC Cobra, 300 SL
4 Toyota MR2

no problem.

Oh yeah the TVR in the used cars lot is an excellent choice.

Sorry to hijack your thread a bit but I need help too, I'm at the Real Circuit Tour, I use the Minolta, I've won 7 out of 10 races.

La Sarthe, Infineon and the Nurb are giving me a hard time. My B-spec driver can't win, even if they pit and I don't I still can't manage to keep up even if I'm on A-spec, I can't drive Infineon, really.

La Sarthe is the same thing and the Nurb too ,there is always a rabbit that get in front and hot laps like Schumacher, I got torched by 30 sec by the Toyota 7, the RP92 race car, the slow shifting peugeot and so on. My pit strategy doesn't work for the nurb and La sarthe because they won't pit.

I used the Minolta for most of the real-life races, but I used the F1 for a few since I had just won it and I wanted to see how it drove. With the Minolta, just set your tranny to like 20 and you should own La Sarthe and the 'ring. As far as Infineon, set the tranny really short and you should have no trouble at all.

Now that I've attempted to give a response to that question, I have one of my own. What did you guys use for the German Touring Car Cup? I tried the Mercedes Evo II but I just cant seem to keep up.

Well....I used the one and only Mercedes Evo II Touring car, with a turbo upgrade. I didn't win a couple (one of them was Fuji 2005, I hate that course), but I still managed to rack up enough points to be the overall winner.

I've not got the Evo II yet so I don't know how well it compares yet but I bought the A4 DTM for the german touring car cup, that Merc is underpowered compared to the others, the modern ones are all around the 450Bhp mark. You can win easilly with the CLK touring car which you can win from the Silver arrow races in the Mercedes events, you could try your luck in that with the Evo II to win the CLK but you'll come up against the SLR.

Try using the Alfa Touring car won in the Alfa GTA race. With 4 wheel drive it creams the opposition as well as having even tyre wear.Even with all ASM and TCS set to zero it lapped nurburgring in 7.15......In the event of racing against the CLK-GTR (which is the prize for this series) just reload until the competition is a bit more even...
