What are the general principles for tuning for stability?

Tuning has always been an area in the GT games that I have limited knowledge with.

I've never been interested in drag tunes because it's just not something I like at all, but I am interested in making these cars great for racing around a track.

There's no "race overhaul" option anymore like there used to be, so what would you say are the general, surface level things that you must do to make a car more stability at low/mid/high speed & under braking?

The main reason I ask is with the engine swaps, I've had issues getting a car to be as stable as I'd like... sometimes it wants to spin just accelerating at mid-high speed corners.

I figured it has to be some of the following:
  • Lower ride height
  • stiffer roll bars
  • Racing brakes/pads
  • Less weight

What other adjustments?

Front to rear difference is important to changing the balance.
It is dependent on weight distribution and other factors.
Try a stiffer front/softer rear (then maybe swap to the other way around and feel the difference)
