That you register a laptime like this? :D

Doesn't it just mean that your last lap was the best recorded lap? 💡

ahhh i get it .............hey its a new year :D

AngloAmerican

Something with slicks and a lot of downforce then...

Hell, that lap is quick for Trial too

Lastly, technically, the odds are 1 in infinity. But they don't actually work out to that and GT4's time stops at 999 minutes for a lap.

I once got XX.911 . I interpreted it as a signal to start driving the RUF CTR Yellowbird again.

What i am about to say none of you will believe. I don't know how it happened, but when using the Playstation Pescarolo at Hong Kong in the GT world championship, i did 3 consecutive laps of the exact same time :dunce:

I wish i saved the replay... :ouch:

But 1'23.456 is awesome :D I've got a 1'00.000 on Tsukuba once, that was pretty damn awesome.

Back in July 2006 I was racing Nurb 24hr.
I was doing hourly updates for a race report, and as part of that I pause the game at, or as close to as possible the hour mark for each hour.
Usually it overshoots, and I subtract the fractions of a second over the hour mark from the laptime displayed so that I know exactly when during the lap the hour mark passed.
Once upon a time I managed one of those 1/1000 shots where I actually paused the game at exactly the hour mark! 6:00'00.000! I was so freaked that I posted a screenshot in the report, and said I'd probably never do it again...

Skip forward almost 3 1/2 years to Nov 2009. I was racing for my final points in the 100,000 A-spec quest at Motegi 8hrs. I paused the game hoping to record exactly where I was when the 8th hour mark passed...

and hit exactly that 1/1000 shot again! 8:00'00.000!

My million to 1 shot, wasted on a videogame!!! :ouch:
Wouldn't have it any other way!!!

So now we know how Smallhorses can win so many races without using NOS --- he's able to stop time!!

Thats some really unbelievable stuff...

Well I guess you could say that you've used up any luck that would have been helpful for a lottery. :sly:

On odds, a notable case in my life was a 12-digit (each digit could be either a triangle, square, circle or x) mastercode in JP:LW on PS which I guessed on my first go. Odds? 1/4^12 or 1/16,777,216.

Another amazing act of inconceivable odds occurred when I was bouncing a tennis ball against the house. My parents were drinking wine just a few metres away and told me to do it somewhere else in case in case the ball collided with their wine glasses. I agreed, and ventured about 30 metres away to where I was on the other side of the backyard. A pool and row of hedges seperated me from them, but these obstacles still didn't prevent what was to happen. I bounced the ball off a piece of wood, the ball struck the corner of a fence, sailed right over the hedges, hit the corner of the pool ledge and leaped clean over the pool, landed exactly under the pool-fence and bounced up and landed in my mother's wine-glass she was holding. Odds? Probably 1/10,000,000. Never again.
