Tonight's dinner: Simple Ramen Noodles with mixed vegetables, mixed with the seasoning and pepper. Technically tried this before but the previous "Mixed Vegetables" I got was just 90% Broccoli with 1% Carrot and 5% Cauliflower (No hate against broccoli, just wished there was more of the other veggies). The one I had tonight has carrots, green beans, peas and corn.

For lunch, exact same thing but with two changes:

  • Abit less water as an experiment to see what happens when cooking the veggies and noodles together.
  • The addition of Chicken broth alongside the seasoning as well as Salt and pepper.

Result: An small but notable uptick in taste and texture.

Over thinking something that’s inhaled in a minute?
I'd think of it more as experimenting. As this is one of the few things I feel confident in cooking by myself (Along with Rice), its therefore safer for me to try things and see what works and what doesn't. Next thing I'm wanting to try on it is having Chunks of actual Chicken and sliced Onions (and maybe bouillon if I can find some).

My mum normally adds prawns, pak choi and blended onions and garlic.

No photos from yesterday's Thanksgiving spread, as I'm pretty sure it violates this site's policy against porn. 😬

I spent all day cooking a turkey, garlic mashed potatoes with bacon, candied yams, butter steamed yellow squash and zucchini, cornbread stuffing, craisin stuffing, cranberry sauce, and enough gravy to drown a donkey. Dessert was a Marie Callender's apple pie.

I spent the rest of the evening in a coma, regretting my life's choices. 😅
