Fixing to watch...

The 1980 Olympics was a looooong time ago.
Happy retirement Steve - a great professional 👏

The next week will be spent celebrating the life and work of Lalo Schifrin (rest in peace).
First up, a small movie from 1971... (he composed the music for 4 of the 5 Dirty Harry movies, so I will watch my boxset 1 film a week):

Tomorrow will be a small movie from 1968...:

Watching some scenes from, "Knowing"(2009). Nicholas Cage was one of the main stars in the film. You can look it up on Google to research more about the history and plot of the movie.

Well I meant to enjoy the funny comedic movies, whereas the horror will make anybody want to scream and get frightened. Yeah, I see what you mean.

The Accountant squared?! Reminds me of Alien cubed
I really like the first The Accountant. The second, not so much.
Is the original black and white version of The Man Who Knew Too Much on the list?
It does not appear to be.

Dandadan Season 2, bro!

Good to have this series back! Like every episode before it, S02E01 ends right when it's getting good. 😤

Aina the End's intro song, "On The Way", isn't as strong as Creepy Nuts' "Otonoke" as an instant banger, but it'll probably grow on me. WurtS's outro song, "Something's Wrong With Them", is about on par with Zutomayo's "Taidada". The animation for both is good and fun, but lacks something as memorable Momo's shimmy, with Okarun and Jiji doing the Carlton in the background.

Don't care! More, please!

I stumbled upon this, and now I'm obsessed. Short skits in a mockumentary style (ala The Office) with your new favourite character (and my new spirit animal) Chit!

Behold!

Just a little sample. Apparently there are new episodes every Mon/Wed/Fri. So in these trying times, at least there is a little oasis 3 times a week. Times may be tough, but Chit has your back. Myeah Myeah.

Hmmm, I might have to look into that one day, I need a good laugh right now.

I think we all could use a good laugh right now. "Do it Lady" has become my new catchphrase, along with "Well, back to it then". I giggle to myself a little every time. A nice little injection of positivity in these rough social/political times.

I've only just recovered from the loss of Lalo Schifrin last weekend (composer of themes including Mission Impossible and Mannix for TV, and then Bullitt and Dirty Harry, and also the theme tune to season 1 of Starsky and Hutch, so I had that on my list to watch next:

And some episodes of Mission Impossible to follow:

But now we have the terrible news that Mark Snow has passed as well!

Apart from the legendary theme to
the X Files, Mark Snow also composed many themes before and after that, including rather bizarrely season 3 of Starsky and Hutch, so I will watch some episode of both season 1 and season 3 now:

After that, he composed the fantastic theme for Hart to Hart, so I will have to try to fit that in as well!:

I can't believe we have lost TWO of the greatest TV composers of all time within a week :(

A friend recommended that I watch The Bad Guys. It was very good, love the art style! And with the second one coming out soon, I know she's excited to see it.

I‘m currently rewatching the McGregor Forever documentary on Netflix. In spite of his unfortunate downfall during the last few years he‘s a huge inspiration for me. Not only for my MMA training but especially for his mindset and self-talk when it comes to general success in life. One of the most inspirational stories I have ever heard, it‘s like something straight out of a movie.
