It is a really exceptional film, and it just gets better with age.

Not exactly watching but I may have left a copy of Michelle Obama's Becoming running on a TV for a couple of hours. It's currently #8 in the US this week for some inexplicable reason.

Well, for some time now I've been starting and dropping out of many high profile and/or critically acclaimed series: The White Lotus, Hacks, Pluribus, Foundation, Silo, Fallout, House of the Dragon, The Rings of Power, Sandman, Demon Slayer, etc., and the only recent ones that have kept me interested so far or I've finished have been Cobra Kai, Stranger Things, Dan Da Dan (to my surprise), Merlina, The Good Doctor, and Nobody Wants This.

But now I'm about to finish the first season of The Pitt and IMO the hype on this one is real. Ah, and a current rewatch of The Good Place has led me to A Man on the Inside.

I got up to the latest season of Stranger Things and New Holly Wheeler is pretty jarring. Apparently the twins who played her in seasons one to four dropped out to become cheerleaders and they needed a replacement who could act.

I got up to the latest season of Stranger Things and New Holly Wheeler is pretty jarring. Apparemtly the twins who played her in seasons one to four dropped out to become cheerleaders and they needed a replacement who could act.

Well, how the Bubba Gump brand came to be is bittersweet, like well, everything in the movie. You should check it out.

I never noticed the switcheroo in ST, considering that Holly was in the background for seasons 1-4.

I guess it's very old if you are Gen Z or Alpha.
For me, I like watching my Universal Horror movies and Bogart on blu ray. They qualify as both classic AND very old

I went to the Bubba Gump on Santa Monica pier - my friends and I went there to celebrate reaching the end of our epic Route 66 journey. I still have the cocktail glass at home.

There is a scene in the film where Forrest Gump is standing on the road leading up to Monument Valley - we drove on that road, but Forrest wasn't there that day...
