Thanks. I started with Raya because the night before, I had watched Descendents: Wicked Wonderland, and I was trying to place the woman who was providing the voice of the Cheshire Cat. I knew I recognized it, but it was just escaping me. And then, just before the credits rolled, I realized it was Awkwafina. So the next movie was going to be either Raya or Chang-shi, and I’m not ready to jump back into the MCU quite yet.
Yeah, I’ve really fallen off the MCU wagon in recent years. I don’t feel like it’s MCU or superhero burnout or anything like that. I’m just having a hard time motivating myself. I still need to see Deadpool and Wolverine, Thunderbolts, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and I haven’t watched an MCU TV series since Loki season 2.
Only two downsides: This is from someone’s 40 year old VHS tape, and it looks it, and the tape ends just before the race finishes. Still, great racing, especially when it started raining.
It’s my thing. My mom said when I was a baby, the easiest way to get me to stop crying was to give me a toy car. She remembers me sitting in my high chair, sleeping quietly, a tiny toy car clutched in each hand. Now that I’m retired, I’m not that much different. Napping in my easy chair. Cars on my TV. Speaking of which, today I’m watching Day Two of this year’s Goodwood Revival.
