What Car For What Race?

OK every one has so many different opinions and they are all scattered over a few thousand threads. ok i need to do the 24 hour endurances , the 'ring, and sarthe 1 and 2. now alot of ppl say their minoltas stay in third on the sarthes , which has happened to me frequently so i didnt even bother wasting time on them if i wont win. i also hear they say the minolta does fine on the 'ring and is ahead a few laps by the end. ok i beat the ring , and so far thats true it does alright . but the sarthe is the hard one to complete in first, so i need to kno :

HO HAS WON THE SARTHES? WITH WHAT CARS?WITH WHAT SETTING ON THE CARS?

ok ive attempted the races with the 3 fastest cars i own , the nissan R92 (1214 hp), minolta 88cv (1223 hp), and kinda crappy chap 2D race car (1041 hp) minolta worked on the ring but 3rd in unfinished sarthe . what has every one else tried?

and if the minolta works give me a good setup for it , it keeps bottoming out on the straight so hows about a ride height adjustment ( but of how much?), and does anyone kno of how to increase tire life? im sure sum1 does. i run hard tires all round and runs great with 4-8 laps lenght, how do the other cars go so long with out pitting? , i could try super hard tires but wont the car not handle very well?CAN SUM1 PLZ HELP ME OUT!!

Use the F1 car you got from the Ring 24 hour race. Incrase the ride height to the maximum and stick on B Spec.

Are you saying you can't win at Le Mans with the Minolta in A Spec?

ok ok, lol. post ur settings for the minolta if u can. but about 20-30 from botttom ride hieght in the front and 40-50 in the back. fortires, use racing super hards, but dont use any toe for it cuz it kinda kills ur tires. it also depends on ur camber angle. use max downforce and make ur springs pretty hard. the super hards u use should be fine, but for bad handling the downforce should help because it creates an oversteer for the car at hgh speeds. post ur settings and we'll see wassup

ok sry , wasnt shouting jus trying to get the point across ,

Fair enough, but it's not a valid point when you think about it, is it? You will have to finish the race you're currently in before you start another one. If you win the race you're currently in you're going to get the F1 car, which you can use at Le Mans...

If you use the Minolta you're putting miles on a car you don't need to. You'll have to do a chassis refresh and get an oil change. If you use the F1 car, there's no effect on it from the mileage. It's up to you, but either car should easily win.

no he doesnt just gain exp over time, its just with races. the more harder races u do the more exp it gets. the glitch thing is when ur car turns right or left for no reason. thats the glitcg,it u have pal or ntsc vers.

Keeping on a setting of 5 is a bit silly, especially on a track like Le Mans. B Spec's going to go off a lot on 5. 2 or 3 would be better, less time spent off the track with only a slight hit in lap times.

hmm, mine did fine with 5 though, but im not sure how long i had it on for because i changed it around often, lol.maybe ur right, 2-3 would be best

Am I like the odd person in the world of GT4? I won 'Ring and both Le Sarthes with the Mazda 787B.... Had to retire the car after those races since it had almost 15K miles on it.

The best car to use all depends on your driving style. When I used the Minolta, I hated it because I couldn't adjust the car to my driving style, that and the 787B looked cooler and was a lot easier to get .
