A while back I acquired a ps3 60 gig version and infocus in72 projector all was great I had the cheap universal component cables and everything worked great. Well I ended up selling the 60 gig due to needing the money at the time to fix a car of mine but recently purchased an 80 gig version now that I was able to afford it again.
First things first I had no problems with projector at time I owned the 60 gig. But beyond that gran turismo 4 and all other ps2 games I had played just fine and looked great same with dvds and blu ray.
Anyways recently projector developed a flicker in the image so i sent it out for repair and just got it back and it was working great. I hooked my 80 gig ps3 up with sony component cables and notice a slight flicker looks like interference with signal? I dont know. Next problem the intro to gran turismo 4 was doing all sorts of crazy stuff and same with game play clouds were all funky.
Now the flickering might be projector still but think 30 ft of high grade component cable from my receiver to projector, and now sony cables from ps3 to receiver. Are the cables bad cables compared to other component cables out there for the ps3 or what?
