What Decals Should I Avoid Uploading?

I can't seem to find a place to see what is allowed and not allowed to be uploaded as decals? Obviously nudity and violent stuff are prohibited, I'm currently planning to upload anime decals what should I look out for?
Should I be worried about copyrighted stuff? are "fully" clothed anime characters is a must?

I'm just trying to not get warned by PH or even worse.

In general, I'd try to avoid uploading anything that can be seen as controversial, i.e. politics, Confederate Flag for General Lee.

As for anime and the like, I try to be careful about characters that have outfits that are a little too revealing. If possible, you can adjust the decal to make it less revealing before uploading it.

I wouldn't worry about copyrighted stuff. Ever since the decal uploader went live, copyrighter stuff (corporate logos, anime characters, etc.) have been uploaded. I think it'd only be a problem if the decals were being sold for money. But since it's not, there's nothing to worry about.

If you feel that a character's outfit is too revealing, adjust it to make it less revealing. I think at that part, use your best judgement. Hopefully this response helps.

E- I'll also add this: when it comes to drawing certain characters, the line can get really gray. (Assuming all characters are fully clothed) If a character naturally has a large chest, I think that is in the green, since that is how the show/game illustraters created that character.
If a character is adjusted to be more sexualized/hyper-sexualized, then you're risking a warning. I remeber someone uploading a decal of Tracer (Overwatch) that had a larger bottom. Some while later, it was taken down for falling into the sexualized category for the report function.

In the end, it's still a gray line, so use your best judgement and if you feel that you need to adjust something, don't be afraid to do so.

Seen a lot of Durex liveries and I've reported a few and they were removed pretty fast, and the uploader was notified.

Although the livery itself wasn't NSFW, I did spot a Lexus RC F GT500 with a KTM Pornhub livery in a lobby last night.

Though I myself probably wouldn't make a livery for a porn site or anything with any kind of fanservice. I mostly go for simple stuff and the occasional replica livery.
 
You can upload what you want basically, just don‘t share it if you don‘t want to risk a warning by Sony :D

You really reported that? Why?

The only thing I've ever reported was a nazi logo and a pornhub logo. How do you know the uploader was notified? When I reported the logos, I was never told anything except for "we've taken the appropriate reaction, thanks for your report"

Well I just wanted to see what happened. And besides this is a kids game, so best to keep it PG :P

When the report has been processed you get a notification saying the person got notified if it is worthy of action :P

Purely out of curiosity, did you do it in response to the expletive or the recipient of it?

I'd have to imagine there's a great deal of profanity put on display and anyone that's played enough to see that usage has surely seen others.

I couldn't agree more. But you know how anal-retentive some parents are when it comes to that. :lol:
Personally, I'll make taboo stuff an almost daily thing when my kid gets to the age where he/she learns things. I don't want things to be awkward because it is considered taboo by today's society. I hate that.

Same with my "Watch out for the IDIOT behind me" sticker. Had to make my own version to keep it up; "Watch out for the RAMMER behind me". It's just as good I guess.. :banghead:

I reported it because of the expletive and the sentiment. It's the only expletive I've seen in a livery.

Good for you. Really. Sure there are incidents that transpire that sully the reputation of the whole, but I believe they're generally still worthy of respect.

I'm amazed that profanity isn't much more pervasive, though. Maybe the powers that be keep it in check.

Pornhub is a sponsor of motorbike in the British supersport category this year there is nothing wrong with it

And the bike races in the Dickies supersport championship you lot gonna report this race series now

A couple of days later... I got a reply saying nothing unsuitable was found and a warning that I could be banned from PSN for making false reports!
Needless to say that after that I haven't reported anything. God forbid I'd be banned for doing the right thing.
 
Shouldn't having a Confederate Flag - at least when the '69 Charger comes - be acceptable on that car only? After all, there are more offensive decals going around.
 
I don't get why people think it's funny to make controversial decals, just shows a high level of immaturity on their part i s'pose?

I had the same problem. In fact i can report two images that were identical, one would be removed and the other not..go figure.
 
Im thinking of doing a "faketaxi" spoof decal with something along the lines of "solo's taxi" but keeping the same font etc.. Think this'll get a ban?

Even if you did faketaxi it shouldn’t get banned in my opinion like it’s a bit of fun no nudity people who know, know people who don’t cant be offended so surely this would be fine
