What did you do in GT7 today?

I dropped 21 mil on the newly available cars, tuned them and did the 3 new races at Spa.

First the 2 lapper in the S barker Tourer. Fun car to drive especially in cockpit view with that target reticle on the hood. It needs a fire button as the hood ornament lines up perfectly with the car in front. Easy win, and fun to drift it around the corners at Spa.

Second race the 3 lapper in the Cappuccino. Another easy win but rather boring drive, slow cup of coffee, struggles to reach 200 kph on the straight, slow acceleration.

And then the 1H race in the BRZ GT300. It's fast but has long braking distance and a lot of understeer. I just drove it stock though, might handle better after some fiddling with settings. 3rd easy win, lapped the entire field and the game still gave me the clean race bonus after spinning out several times in the rain and hitting / getting hit by the AI a couple times. Beware the new pit exit stays wet after the rain, 1 minute plus pit times for the whole sequence.

Night time is a welcome addition to Spa with flood lights around the track. I was playing this race on ps4 pro though where it has lots of flickering light issues at night. No frame rate issues at least (was playing in 1080p, had plenty fps issues before in 4K mode on Spa)

Last and least, got a 1 star ticket, 2K prize. Still better than a useless tuning part!

27 last century cars left to go. Mostly waiting for the XJ13 and 917K to come back and the 962C to appear.

Bought the brz, designed a new livery for it; did the gr2 5 lapper daily race c (took 4th); designed a new livery for the F1 Mclaren.

Oh… and I tried to figure out the difference between the 24 H layout and the GP layout of Spa. Couldn’t figure it out.

Finished the 60min Spa race I started tonight & cashed in 1.5mill. Went to Hagerty and bought a -74 Countach + two -70 Challengers.
Wow, the R/T Challenger feels like it has totally worn out shocks. The letters "R/T" stands for the "road & track" sports-suspension Kaz

Were they wearing slicks and going 100+?

On my drive home I came up on a McLaren at a red light. Confident in my skills from playing GT7 so much I looked over and gave him The Nod and revved the engine a little. Light turned Green and I floored it. I can now say from experience that a Ford Fusion Special Edition can NOT beat a McLaren GT
Should have used the Tomahawk.

It's the pit location and pit exit that are different. The track is the same. A standing start should start around the first corner I think, but you don't notice that in the rolling starts against the AI.

humbled myself by not coming first in the Spa WTC800 1hr twice in a row and then to make myself feel worse and not feel like a winner, I didn’t come first in the LeMans WTC700 30min. what a day. I’m never trying sub optimal cars for a bit of variety ever again.

One of these things is not like the other…

I was working on a Beetle build to take on Schwarzwald League, but hit a dead end around p13-p12.

1.13 physics changes took 8s off my Barcelona lap times with no adjustments. Further tightening got me to 5th, caved and bought NOS to finish the job.

I walked down to the store and bought a cup of coffee. I'm actually a tea drinker but this coffee was cheap so whatever.

Realized the noPP limit on the new races meant I could play around a little. Took the brand new One-77 out for 2 laps at Spa. That car is fun stock. Worth $1 mil.

Then I decided to put that spare 787B engine I've had laying around into an RX-7 and take it to Spa for 3 laps. Figure i should do a little but more than just slap a race engine into a road car so I threw new brakes and pads on it, put a customizable tranny and suspension, slapped a se of Sports Soft tyres, and added some aero elements.

Sports tyres are not enough grip for a 690hp beast. I easily won but this car was squirrely. Probably should have maxed the downforce too.

I have a funny feeling that I will be like a beginner again, later today when new wheel arrives. it's a G923, not really cheap but its the best I can have for now, always been a controller person, but I grip it that tight its creeking under the pressure lol tiring on the hands! 😐

Got the Cappuccino and BRZ. Saving the GT300 until a good tune pops up for it.

I then ran a 30 minute Enduro on Daytona, 'cause why not.

And to wrap up, bought the SF and FT-1500 to get the trophy for driving a Formula car, which didn’t work... Do I need to complete a full lap in Time Trials or do a race?

Decided to buy the Ferrari at LC. And now I gotta grind to catch up, as I'm planning to buy, if not all, most of the invitation cars that I still got left.

I finished menu books 33 & 34. I bought 2 Cappucinos and GTR 17 for the Skyline menu ( sounds like a restaurant ) , the Gordini from the UCD and something else can't remember I was very sleepy at the time

Bought the BRZ and the Cappucino. Drove the cappucino while drinking my morning coffee. Fun little car! Then did the Euro Sunday Cup at Spa with my go-to AMG GT Black Series. Someday I'll get around to that 1mil race, but not today.

Bought a used Prius.
Rip off. New one is only a bit more. Who knows where that used Prius has been. :sly:

I tried the '23 Nissan Z Performance today. Nice car. Forgot it was there.

Noticed single player replays have a +/- 1 lap option. Not sure if that's new or if I just havdn't noticed before. That's handy.

Raced Sardegna 15 laps with
CLK LM (1 stop, 1. place)
Mazda787 (0 stops, 1. place)
Jaguar XJR-9 (0 stops, 1. place)
Nissan R92 (0 stops, 2. place)
Got 10k from a 4-star-Ticket.
Tomorrow i will try getting 1. place with the Nissan but then i really need your tips which Group3 cars i should get try at the race and what strategies to drive. I have close to no experience with Gr.3 (and close to none in my garage) and want to train in this race and similar ones for online dailys later on.

Bought the Ferrari 330P4. Love that car. And love that it's way cheaper this time around.
Also found out that even with the latest physics tweak, the Mangusta is still completely undrivable.
