Did Nordschleife in C.E, failed 3 times before doing a full lap. Improved my time from 7min07 to 6min55, no too shabby.

Went to Tokyo WTC, re-tuned my Tomahawk and gave it a second go. Won easily, only issue is always passing the traffic without hitting Barry R.

Some good money, reaching 3M, still 6 to go to buy the 300 P4

Received another miserable one star ticket, that ended up being sport suspension for a fantastic Hyundaï Genesis Coup 3.8 '13 (which I don't have nor plan to buy...), so great...

Yesterday was trying to was trying to win the Spa WTC800 race with a beefed up CTR3. Turns out that was going to be really difficult. Only managed P7 after botching the strategy multiple times and nearly dying to rear tire wear. Good fun.

Today was similar, but trying to get other cars to 800PP and watching the AI race instead. So far its just the CTR3, Ferrari F12, Viper and a Carrera GT I butchered with a widebody. I'm thinking maybe an Aventador next?

Ran these at the Nordschleife, Catalunya and Spa (here). It looks like they're pretty close in performance. The Carrera needs some work, though.

When I can get half the grid filled out I'm definitely going to do some multiclass races. Possibly with some Gr.3s or Gr.2s.

Casual 'driving' the Supra on Spa Francorchamps.

Did the three new events on Spa and the Endurance race 2 times. Easy 3 mil.

You're not done until you take off that turbo kit and throw some hards back on it.

Just tested my Corvette 14' at the Nordschleife - got a 1-Star ticket. Great. So anyway, I opened it, and the animation showed me a small pile of money, and then for no specific reason the animation ended in an ALMIGHTY flash - I nearly dropped my controller, LMAO.
Is that a new animation? It was just 5k credits Gran Turismo, settle down!:lol:

Now I don't even want to know what happens when you get 100k or more, probably an atomic bomb going off.

Did the 1 hour Spa race; won by a ~16 seconds over the Aston. The weather was not kind to me. Got caught out half way though a lap when it started pouring. That was tough getting back to the pits. Once the rain dried, back on RHs. I could make it to the end on fuel so I was messing with the settings and not paying any attention to the radar, only to see it was going to start raining right after I passed the pit entry. Dammit. My fault. Limp around the lap, pit for IMs. Dries up shortly thereafter, but with only two laps let, I kept the IMs even with a dry line. They were not happy about it by the end but they survived.

Tried a couple Daily B races and they didn't go so well. Didn't have a chance to put in a good quali before the first race; started P7 and finished P6. Then I was able to put in a decent quali before the next race (1:30.1) but started...... 13th! Was in with a lot of A ranked players and at least one A+ even though I'm a B. Ended up finishing 12th which was surprising since I spun on lap two.

Golded Fuji in CE

Decided to revisit Laguna 1 lap CE as last time I tried it (weeks ago) I was stuck on silver by .600" and gave up. Although it did take a number of attempts to refamiliarize myself with the car/track, I was able to beat my PB and was "only" .200 off gold. So I kept at it and a handful of attempts later, eventually got it with a 1:29.325 (gold is 1:29.600). Not sure if because the physics were Nerfed or I got better. Convincing myself of the latter, but probably the former. Laguna CE = done.

Did the Spa 1 hr race

First time I tried with a Gr3 Vette, then got frustrated and quit and then came back in with tuned-up Nismo GTR. Made it a bit more interesting, also made the wet easier to deal with.

Then did it again with a nerfed Tomahawk for fun and trounced the field easily of course.

took the tomahawk to tokyo for 3 races... then got my roulette and it was an engine swap... put the engine in a rx-7 02... took the rx-7 for a spin in the new 2 spa races and won both easily... that thing is loud probably wont drive again lol...also bought the GTO and Viper from the used dealership

I spent all day caught up in exploring the physics. Supra RZ on comfort mediums at Tsukuba (1:12.996), then sport mediums (1:06.943). Tried the Porsche 911 Carrera RS '95 next on sports mediums (1.06.085).

Then I threw caution to the wind and took the 911 GT3 RS '16 to the Nurburgring on sports mediums, and that was two scoops of trouble with sprinkles. I tried several times, with a dozen or more do overs, trying to get a clean lap, but just couldn't keep all four wheels on the pavement. Or sometimes any. When I finally pulled a lap with only three grass divots, it was 7:40.907. Jeepers creepers, that car felt like I was driving on box springs... :nervous:

Watching the best lap replay from chase view, I actually did a pretty good job of it. Just a minute slower than the record, meh. Then, feeling a little better about my performance, I did it again with sports softs, and after a few mishaps, and noticing by accident on my MFD that traction control was on 2, I turned it off and promptly hit the wall. Decided TC1 would do, and managed to do a pretty much clean lap, just riding the flat at Ausfahrt Breidscheid, and pulled a 7:32.659.

Did a couple of races at Sardegna, then tried out a couple of cars at the new Spa races. After that I decided to do the Monza CE, since I've been lapping that quite a bit over the last week. Attained the gold time quicker than I thought I would, so I assume the physics change has made this easier.

The Sardegna CE was next, which I'd left at silver after my previous attempt, but I eventually got the gold on that too.

rb x 2014 spa 1:38:9

After 3 week of looking and analyzing where can I gain time...I finally did it ( perhaps it's a thing that handling model was changed )

BUT I DID IT!!!

I managed to gold this also yesterday but is the car always like this? I never drove the Junior version, only the original X2014 but I remember it being planted as opposed to the Junior which felt a bit floatier?

Managed to gold what? It’s a time trial lap.

this is time trial spa with rb x 2014 standard...its fastest rb in gt7 till now..except if we get rb fan..which I would be happy..
my GOAL WAS TO achive time...almost impossible after 3 week of hard work...people usually get 1:42 times around spa...the best ones are under 1:41....for getting it under 1:39...you have to tune it right and you have to have exact wind..which provides you best downforce operating window...then it's all up to driver...to nail everything right....
i was always around 1:39:5...but managed to get it under...

I finished the GTR collection and I have to say it was blast driving the GTR 17. I bought some parts to get it up to 700 pp. So I took on the Tokyo east race and spun out about the 2nd or 3rd curve so I quit and actually tired to tune it a little bit which I did then went back to race and won but I have to say I was not expecting the GTR laid as much power as it did. I think got up to 207 mph on the back straightway on the track. Next I tried the WTC 700 with a detuned Living Legend and I came in fourth by 1 pt. I won Trial Mountain came in 6th or 7th Barcelona and 5th at the Ring. I think it practice those 2 tracks just a wee bit more. I got 2 roulette tickets and got 10K plus a Tundra that I can't sell yet. I also discovered that the living Legend has 8 gears. 🤷‍♂️

Spent a lot of time with the group 3 BRZ, racing it in whatever it could enter, including tuning down to 700pp for the WTC races. Entered the 700pp race at Dragon Trail and, when the torrential rains came at the end of lap 5, I pitted and realised that i hadn't gotten around to buying all the tires yet. So I left pit lane onto lap 6 and sat there blowing donuts. THEN I entered the Group 3 race at Suzuka. It sprinkled on lap 3, then I was spun out with 2 corners left on the final lap lol. This game really is a hell of a lot of fun when the weather goes south. Incidentally, a friend gave me his copy of Assetto Corsa Competizione. I found it very funny that my car would not move. I hit the options button on my G29 and realized that i actually had to TELL the game that I was using a wheel. I guess that a controller is the default lol.
