So not today but couple days ago finaly get gold on S-10 Licence and complete horse thief mile circuit experience. and today won Human comedy at Kyoto and 1 hour at spa with gr.3 Z4 and take scape at Nürburgring with it for trophy try hoard some money for legendary le mans cars (Ford and Jag ) if they return i want be ready for them :D

I tried to do the WTC 700 or 800 Race on Tokyo expressway and did really bad in my Supra '20, you cant use wet tires and the track is mildly drenched, any tips on how I can beat this race?

The prize money of 550,000CR was very alluring.

Then before that somehow I did some of the Tokyo Expressway CE, and got a rare 5-star roulette ticket and won for free the BMW VGT concept car which was pretty sweet. ;)

Only downside to that car is has no interior view and tops out at 170mph....but it is pretty noice.
Almost at 10.5mil CR's and counting.

Did some more Circuit Experiences;

  • Circuit de la Sarthe; All sectors and the full lap gold.
  • Red Bull Ring; All sectors and the full lap gold.
  • Deep Forest Raceway; All sectors and the full lap gold.
  • Tokyo Expressway Central (Counter Clockwise) ; All sectors and the full lap gold.

Bought 1 car today, the Mercedes S Barker Tourer from '29.

& Installed my wheel stand and did the endurance race on Spa Francorchamps for a test run... Finished 14th, lol.

Rory struggled with it? That actually makes me feel a lot better about it. And gathering from what I've seen here, many people swung for the fences and used a car that murdered the field.

I should get one of my monsters out of the garage, do the series again and punish those AI dorks just to soothe my soul, haha.

Pretty pathetic to have a grudge against a computer and it's fake cars, but hey, I'm not perfect!
So I went and gave it a go in a bone stock Aston V12 and actually was quite successful. I actually had to do it twice because GT is stupid sometimes.

Attempt 1:

Deep Forest: P1
Spa: P3
LeMans: One min into lap two is starts to pour. I'm on slicks so I can't much move, let alone drive. Restart. See the rain coming this time and pit for inters. Oh, wait..... I don't own inters/wets for this car! So, I quit the race and re-entered hoping there would be no rain. Well, there wasn't until lap three it started raining. AI pits for Inters but I don't have any so I get passed by all of them. Why can't we buy tires within a championship!?! So dumb. So I said to hell with this, and quit out of the Championship to go buy inters/wets.

Attempt 2:

Deep Forrest: P1
Spa: P1
LeMans: P1, barely. Was 4.5 seconds ahead of the WRX going into the last lap. Hit the first long straight and the gap is 2.5 and dropping. WTH? Holy **** it's Viper (Top Gun reference! :-)) and it's closing fast. So I did some minor 'getting in the way' to keep it back, similar how the AI gets in the way all the time. And guess what, NO RAIN! Buy the wet weather tires and it doesn't rain anymore. sigh
Bathurst: P2
N24: P1. Got PIT manuvered by the AI about half way thru lap two. Got "lucky" enough I hit a wall which pushed me back on track... a little wiggling back and forth and I had control again. Lost about 6 seconds because of that. Passed the WRX on the back straight for the lead.

Of course this is post-1.13 so that may have something to do with it. Seems like everything pre-1.13 (or post) needs an asterisk one way or the other.

This was fun, going into Les Combs essentially three wide. We all made it!

Did the 1hr Spa race and bought the Vulcan so I have all invite cars now. Practiced for the GTWS all day.

Qualified 4th on softs, ran Mediums and we got no rain. I'm back in 4th on 12th lap after passing all the softies in the Pits. Guy rams me into the dirt in final chicane, messaged me and told me it was my fault for not knowing how to move over for a faster car. Basically screwed me of my entire No Pit advantage as he and another softie passed me and I ended 6th. What a pleasant experience.

Immediately bought the 962C once the clock struck 8 PM Eastern for the refresh. Disappointed to find nothing new in the UCD

The Porsche handles fairly well. I tested it at the Nürburgring GP loop and had fun.

I did the Lago Maggiore WTC800 race again with a new roster of cars. I miss the ones from yesterday, but a race is a race. I managed a 4th place finish, then a 3rd, and gave it one more shot. It's a tough race, but I was slowly whittling away small mistakes that cost me a few hundredths of a second each sector, and finally edged past the lead cars on the final lap, which then chased me like wolves for the rest of it. I managed to legitimately hold them off and scored a victory.

Then did car maintenance and ate a late brunch which became "brupper" as I was distracted here and on the gearjunkies forums discussing the latest music and synth technology. Jumped back into GT7 after dishes and decided to see if I could tame the McLaren MP4-12C "Gr4" tuner. I think I finally twisted the right knobs, as the once oversteer-happy beast became a better mannered steed good for racing. I'll have to do a proper livery for it later.

Too tired to race anymore, so opened a one star ticket for 2K and a three star for 10K, then bought my third Ruf CTR3 and Murcielago at the Used Lot. I think a little extra sleep time is in order for the evening. :P

Great stuff man!

I had the same issue at Lemans with the rain as well, but for me it started raining on lap 3, and though I have wets and inters for the RCZ, a pit would have completely ruined my chances at a win. Luckily, although grip was lessened by a bit, I was able to manage on RH and the wet meter barely got above the first mark at its worst, so the slicks were able to carry me to the win, passing the WRX on the last lap in the Porsche corners.

That same Viper gave me fits throughout two of the laps because he was deadly slow in the corners, but would run me down and pass me on the hilariously long straights of Lemans. Despite its legend, it remains a track I don't have much fun with.

I also had a restart at Mt. Panorama due to an AI pitting me in the esses coming down off the top of the mountain, but it sent me into the wall and spun me backwards and left me facing back up the hill against the wall in the middle of the pack and it would have been a stupid chore to come back from that!

I'm glad you had fun with it, and got some really sweet shots of your races. I was so irritated by the end of it that I didn't save anything from the races, but I'm definitely going back with a bigger hammer soon just to redo it for fun without all the stress! I'll probably give it a shot in my 700hp F430 "street car" that's been tuned to within an inch of its life. Should make for an interesting series with that.

Thanks for the great post!

I completed the Gr.1 class.

Took a lot - and I really do mean A LOT - of grinding, but now with the 962 coming out finally, I have the complete set!

GT7 - Gr.1 Complete.JPG

This has been a goal of mine since before the game even came out, as Custom Races with a full Gr.1 field of cars I actually own has been one of my personal goals with the game.

GT7 really brought back the inner collector in me.

(Thanking my Tomahawk for the 50k miles it's endured)

In the 50k miles on your Tomahawk, how much engine and body restoration did you need to do?

3 so far, from memory at around 18k miles, 38k miles, 51k miles.
Performance drop-off is surprisingly high (around 110hp with bad oil too).

I keep on reading people talking about WTC800 , but i cant locate it , i’m on Menu book 39. Le Mans 30 minutes, is what i’m looking for ? . I can only find Le mans 24 mins in missions .

Golded Circuit Experience in Brands Hatch, Blue Moon, Daytona and Willow Springs.

The Gr. 3 and 4 Mustangs are so stable and fun to drive than some other Gr. 3 and 4 cars, it's crazy.

The CE on Brands Hatch is quite difficult for me but it seemed to actually improved my braking and throttle control a lot.

what assists did you run with mate, on Brands Hatch?

Today a started gt7 went to LCD saw 962C need to buy it. I know i previously said i need money for pe mans legend but ... 😁. Then try human comedy at deep forest with 650s gt4 finished 4th with one stop for RH and fuel ahead of me was another 650s second was nsx gr.4 3rd tycan as i read somewhere he need 4 stops in this case he was only 3 times in pits. My lap times are from. 1.36 to high 37 with best lap time 1.36. 313 . Maybe try it again in diffrent car and from lottery i got 5k credits i dont hope for something better from lottery

Got a couple of the shorter circuit experience golds. Been trying to get the first Tokyo Expressway gold for a couple of weeks - just can’t do it!
Haven’t been following the forum for a while, date I say the roulettes are getting slightly better? Got a few cars and decent money in the last couple of weeks, then got 1 million today. I know I should be saving for the legendary cars trophy but I immediately splashed out on the Penzoil GTR after I saw it in a shopping mall recently.

Set for myself a new goal - collect all gr.4 cars in below fun-grind pattern:
I'm following a similar pattern, along with a bit of tarty livery action for each one, just to break up the grind. I've got quite a collection now - this is today's terminally understeering beasty (probably should have looked at tuning as well as painting)...

I took the Vulcan to Monza today in the WTC800. Didn't expect to win because even on FM 6, you'll only get 3 laps. So 3 stops.
Long story short, by end of Lap 9, I'd built up a 13 second lead (after 2 stops), the stops are short here, filled up with petrol, came out 5 seconds behind the Viper, dropped FM to 1 and won by 5 seconds.
Well done Vulcan!!!

I bought the 962C, GR.C (GR.1) offerings complete I guess although I'm still waiting for the 917K and XJ13 to come back. Not sure what's up the the car dealers, nothing even limited anymore in LCD and the UCD seems to have stopped updating.
Lots are saying should be out of stock now  I'm still missing 21 cars pre 2000.

So no grinding needed since nothing but modern cars left to buy atm, thus some more circuit experience. I golded NGP, was fairly easy after turning the braking zones off. I tried with them but they don't seem to be in the right place. Same at Sarthe and Spa, they just throw me off. Even showing braking zones where a slight lift will do.

Sarthe was still tricky, 2:45 minutes in and then it's up in the air whether the car stays on track or decides to spin out. It's much better than it was but it still has a tendency to spin without warning (playing on DS4). Spa was the opposite with understeer interfering in places, but not that hard to get gold. 3 favorite tracks all cleared, N24, Spa and Sarthe.

The rest I'm not putting much effort in yet, just set bronze since no point in going for silver. Some look promising but then there's always one sector giving trouble. Like Deep forest, instant gold on 1 and 3, can't get close to silver on 2. The car keeps breaking out in those twists and bogging down. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, just move on before Sarah gets too annoying. I didn't have any of those issues in other cars.

Collected the 5K daily reward, minimum prize again. Although in fairness, I hit the jackpot yesterday, or close to, 500K medium stack of gold bars. It's close to a Tokyo run  Still no engine in sight. I've only seen an engine in the spin selection once and then it landed on a Bore up S :banghead:
