I am back on B level after a long dry spell....

Did it on race C, started in p7 and finished on p3.

This was the other day and got some good reuslt in the choppy Daily Race C, was fun though, to manage fuel and strategy, but the green hell is hellish for sure in the X2019. I will try again as it helps my SR rating.

Had a bad daily Race B, got bumped and spun in the winenr RCF car, by some brit who just swore on chat as i accidently bumped a guy in front of me in turn 1 unintentinally.

Also collected the Nations cup awards even though I think my answers wrong lol

Bought the Alfa from the LCD, only 6 more to go, one of which is the MP4/4, which I could win if I was prepared to grind the Master license Golds... But I don't think I can be bothered with that.

If I may say so, keep at it. The master licenses are not that hard. The Lake Louise one was the hardest for me, maybe because I hate anything on dirt or snow tyres.

The final one (the Mclaren at Suzuka) is doable, follow the demonstration ghost and try to learn the car.

Plus, the gift cars are always 0 miles cars. If you are into this sort or thing.

They're hard enough. That is to say that I'm a very average player in terms of skill level, and with 25 years experience doing GT license tests I know that they are achievable... I would get there in the end...

... But there's basically no point. I could buy the MP4/4 after 7 hours grinding at Le man's... Or I could try and win it grinding away at the Master super license. That'll take more than 7 hours (I think I've only got a few silvers so far) and it will be way more frustrating. I'm not a fan of grind races in general, but in this scenario doing the license isn't that much different... It's just about repetition, and either way, I'm just doing it for the car as there's nothing else that comes with the Master license.

Now managed 1 hotlap of the Nurburgring in 200 different cars. Not all of them are great laps but we had a go. Going to give it a rest until the new year at least, might try for them all who knows.

What are the race settings? Can it be used in lobby?

Been tuning all my cars I got from the MFGT rewards to feel more like they did in MFGT, which is rather difficult seeing as MFGT doesn't give you a look into the tuning setups PD used. Seems the closest I've got is adding the fully customizable suspension, stiffening the roll bars and then adding sports soft tires to every car. Some of the faster cars needed help from the power limiter too, since they're more sluggish in MFGT compared to the vanilla GT7 setup(s).

Did some good Daily Races A and some more of Daily Race C, kinda acheived the same result with the X2019 despite me crashing at the first straight on that race, recovered and clawwed it back to 7th.

Collected my rewards for the other TT attacks that expired.

Bought nice '66 Shelby Cobra to compltet the book in cafe and got all shelbys! tuend to 864hp at 857 kg almost 1:1 ratio.

Unlocked a JAG VGT, thsi car looks much better than tha ghastly 2024 concept car. :yuck:

Turned off TCS, ASM and ABS on the Viper GTS SR II to see how hard it is to drive as the real early gen Vipers are apparently pretty hard to control under load and if GT7 is anything to go by it's definitely a hard car to control with 0 assists.

On the GTP account, I collected 1,500,000 Cr. in time-trial money (bronze at the Nurburgring, silver at Grand Valley), a Lexus RC F GT3 (hung onto for tuning purposes) from the Manufacturers Cup viewer campaign and a 6-star bearing 1,000,000 Cr. from the TGR Cup viewer campaign. I then did the Weekly Challenges:
  • Tsukuba Japanese FF Challenge in 2:26 with a stock 207 Suzuki Swift Sport
  • Willow Springs American Sunday Cup 600 in 4:36 with a stock Ford Mustang GT
  • Interlagos VGT in 11:05 with a stock Toyota FT-1 VGT
  • Mount Panorama Race of Turbo Sportscars in 12:26 with a stock McLaren MP4-12C
  • Kyoto Special Event in 16:33 with a stock Subaru BRZ GT300 (after many restarts and failures with the 1990's-era GT500s)
The 6-star ticket from that gave the high-showing/lowest-possible 500,000 Cr., while the 4-star ticket gave a Corvette ZR1 C6 (again hung onto for tuning purposes).

On the Plus account, as I completed My First Gran Turismo there (about 3 hours of work on Friday to get everything to a gold standard), I collected the cars from that, while selling the VW Golf for 12,320 Cr. I also collected my watch prizes (again hanging onto the car) and 1,000,000 Cr. for correctly guessing Jose Serrano as the TGR GT Cup champion, with the 6-star ticket giving the high-showing/lowest-possible 500,000 Cr.

The Weekly Challenges were slain as follows (with the Mount Panorama race getting the account back up to 100% completion):
  • Tsukuba in 2:19 with a stock 2022 Honda Civic
  • Willow Springs in 4:25 with a stock Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1
  • Interlagos in 11:05 with a stock Toyota FT-1 VGT (I hate that all my favorite VGTs are now over 850 PP stock)
  • Mount Panorama in 14:57 with a stock Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette
  • Kyoto in 14:57 with a stock 2016 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT500
The 6-star was the same high-showing/lowest-possible 500,000 Cr., while the all-cash 3-star workout Wheel of Despair was the 2nd-low-showing/lowest-possible 5,000 Cr.

Normally untuned cars, racing medium tyres, TCS 3. I'm not quite as talented as some racers heh. Not sure what you mean by lobby, it's just a time trial on Nordschleife if that helps.

Edit: I just read that again. Sorry I mean one lap with one car each.

I had believed you had a 200 lap custom race that you ran hence why i asked for the race settings. Accept my apologies for misunderstanding you.
