La Villa Strangiato by Rush. Just need to do the two super fast parts but other than that I've got all of it.

Most solos I get the general idea but improvise to have some fun with it. Like I'll follow the structure but play it a little different. Usually flows really well, like an alternative version of a song.

Usually, I'll be attempting to compose my own when I'll notice, the song I'm playing is an amalgamation. Today, I learned how to play "Leave it Alone" by NOFX. WARNING: musical taste is a vast and wonderous wasteland and if you choose to judge mine, I'll do the same.

Recently, I learned a little bit of Ozzy Osbourne's Shot in the Dark. The tuning is REALLY weird! the 6th and 5th strings are tuned up half a step, while the rest of the strings are tuned down half a step :crazy:

Yup. I gave up on that song.

Good question. It's been a while since I learned something new, but I really should do it more often. I've spent more time writing my own material. The last two pieces of music I learned were;

Cavatina

Bourree in E minor

Strangely, I found Bourree to be the harder of the two, which contradicts the opinion of just about every musical institution out there.
