I think this the (somewhat) the controller of the future, imagine no more sweaty hands! But I'm still thinking about purchasing this product. Express you opinion.

This controller is available on X-Box (standard); PS2; and Gamecube. The first two at late August and the latter at October.

Generally spaking all 3rd part controllers that I have ever had have been crap. Low quality buttons, poor directional controls and so on. The one exception I've found is Ascii who doesn't even make anything for the US market as far as I'm aware. (Luckily I can get their products off of an import website.)

i saw a review of these on TechTV(www.techtv.com)but this was a while ago so i dont think you'll find it on there any more.but they said it was an overall good controller.i actually held one somewhere(dont quite remember) and it felt pretty comfortable!

Oh I see, looks like that this controller will be on my palm for a while (doing eundurance races in GT) when I buy it.

My friend has it for PS2. Its great. It really helps keep your palms from sweating. Its got a nice feel too. I also like the color scheme.

Just bringing this back to the top. Has anyone else used an AirFlo on any of the consoles? It seems like a really intelligent product, but there's no telling how well it works.

They make one for each of the three big ones.

Oh, and a similar topic ... has anyone used the USB adapter for the DS/2 controller used to plug the controller into a computer? I could really go for some DS2 for some computer games.

Review: Nyko Aiflo for Playstation 2

I just bought the controller two weeks ago after 3 week of agrivated waiting. At first glance, the contr. looks oversized and luckly I got the black one (personally, I don't want any other color). When I unwrapped the case (and its a tough one), I read the manual a bit, and installed the two cords (one for contr. and one for the USB). The first game I played was NFS: Hot Pursuit 2, fan works well but not as what I've been expected. But in the long run, it ventilates my hands/palms quite flawlessly and was amazed, after 5 hours of gameplay, my palms are still completely dry! Nyko did the job very well, but there are some minor drawbacks, like when you want to use your index finger to press the triangle, you will have a hard time doing so because of its sheer bulk, and lastly when the Dualshock contr. vibrates it make a loud rattle esp, playing NBA Street.

Conclusion: (for PS2 version)

+ (pluses)
=Keeping your palms dry, w/c means longer gameplay
=Adjustable fan speed (I always use the lower setting, a higher setting will result of having your hands too cold)
=Above average quality feel

- (minuses)
=A bit oversized (almost X Box size feel)
=Rattles when vibrates
=Long wait (avg. 2 weeks)

Verdict:
=A cure for sweaty palms (like me), but if you have the patience of waiting in line to get one and ignoring minor drawbacks, the Airflo is a very sold Best Buy accessory for every console (PS2 for me).

I hope I don't look like a magazine columnist here. Really I'm not.

I got one for the XBox. It's a neat concept, but the controller isn't so great. The Air Flo thing is nice, it actually works and everything, but the buttons suck. They're like standard 3rd party controller buttons. For the gaming experience you should get the controller that is manufactured by the console manufacturer.

I've only got burned buying 3rd party controllers.....and since I started taking this medication, my hands never ever get sweaty while I play for any amount of time.... :)
