Stinks of PD/Sony wanting to add microtransactions, Yes I know Dr Kaz himself said there would be none, But everything he says should always be taken with a very large grain of salt, He's been less than forthright with the truth in the past.

yeah i don't even know whats the point of having two currency on the game .. i think it could be better have just Cr's and handle all the stuff with it

Credits are skill dependant; the better you drive the more you earn. Mileage points are not skill dependent as everyone gets them at the same pace, no matter if they win or lose. So in short: Mileage store is there to cater to everyone, not just the better players who can afford a lot of the good stuff.

Not really microtransactions as it doesnt cost you anything in real money. Microtransactions is where you buy ingame credits/money/mileage points with real money and that doesnt exist at the moment.

At the moment, But I did say wanting to add microtransactions, Why else would they increase the price of something 5 fold?

So what did he mean ? he posted the comment in a section referring to wheels going up in mileage points so his post is relevant to that.

The part emphasized right there, Show me another reason for a price increase of something you buy with an in-game currency.

Edit: Sorry for taking over your thread somewhat with this topic OP.

is ok, thats the point of this thread, to give our different opinions.

i think i could accept micro transactions (i mean real money buying) , only if they are purely for aesthetic goods inside the game, but at the moment that you could somehow buy performance with real money, i will log out of the game forever.

Where does it say this? I haven't found anything in the patch notes etc. that says this is happening?

I don't really mind either, I have so many mileage points racked up I cant spend them quick enough. It's not like I need to spend real money to get mileage points, not to mention that they're purely cosmetic, if it stays this way, I'm happy.

You are right, looking at your profile i read that you are at UK, so i went to the GT web page on UK and the patch notes doesn't have that part, i am at Spain, and if you switch to the Spain web site the patch notes includes the raise of the wheel prices. i don't know what to think, it looks like each country have different patch notes.

I get that but with the daily gift cars and many ones from career there isn’t much point in credits in the first place IMO. I’m sitting at over 10 mill credits now and haven’t even bought 1 car.

I value mileage currency a lot higher than credits.

So, if we're going to have 16 new wheels next week, we'll need to spend 8.000 Milage points if we want to buy them all.

Every new Mi Ex means:

4.000 for 1 car
2.500 for 1 car
250 for 3 decals
1000 for 2 poses
3000 for 2 helmets
8000 for 16 colors
8000 for 16 wheels

That's roughly 27.000 Milage points. I'll buy everything while I can but for those who only play a couple of hours a day (or less), it might get hard to do the same.

For racers I don’t think it matters much since they will have plenty of mileage points anyway. But I assume photographers or painters don’t like this much.

Yeah, I'm not like this decision ... Now there need to be a lot more playing to afford all the items in mileage shop. Good for those that play much but not for my...

I like racing and creating liverys, but if you call racers to the people who plays a lot of time, you are wrong, i just have a couple of hours free because of work and family stuff, but i could be called racer as much as the kids who can play 18 hours a day, obviously those kids does not worries about mileage points.

Make the game work for you whilst you're not playing... rubber band a Blue Moon endurance race in arcade and you can pick up 3-4k mileage points in 8 hours whilst you work/sleep (plus the associated $$$'s, mileage credits, driving time credits, play time credits and you'll level up too).

I'm running 2 x 8 hour grp 1 endurance races a day - one overnight, one during the day. When I knew I wasn't going to be able to play one night this week I set up a 24h endurance.

Each version of GT has its short cuts :)

Why buy all the wheels anyway? You can paint them after so you do not need multiple colours of one wheel
Hello again, hope you're well, you're sort of right, this week I've only bought one of each, its all in the detail though as the specific colour's can't be applied exactly through the livery editor and the O.Z rally style ones last week had different colours of writing, red, black and white that remained that colour regardless of the colour you applied over the top, later on in the game when there are lots of special colours available you'll pretty much be able to create any look that you fancy, anodised and shiny metal etc

Iam a dad of 2 kids 50to60 hour job and i have no worries ;) dont care it keeps you playing,

About in game money iam broke alll the time because i buy allot of cars and still dont have them all....... o and i have 4 GT3 RS every colour one hahahaha

Hey man. All good here, hope your well also.

I actually thought of that right after i posted, i even bought two of the three oz wheels for that reason lol i just hadn't got back here to edit my post. So, yeah, i guess there is a pretty good reason for certain rims to buy the different ones. Cuse your right, when customizing or personalizing a car the little thing are the most important
