Moving away from pessimism, this thread is simply about the icons on this new GT5 menu screenshot.

Try and take a ganders.

Edit: I think that its safe to say the last 2 are settings, and Manual/Help

Edit: Ok well, its been shown that from left to right:

Arcade, Online, Dealer, GT mode, Status, Theatre, Options, Manual

So what do you think of the interface?

From Right To Left, I'd say Help / Instructions, Settings, Replay, then it gets a bit difficult :)

EDIT:

From what other people have said, I'd have to go for (left to right this time):

Arcade
GT TV
Museum
GT Mode
Garage (wouldn't this be in GT Mode though?)
Music (from PS3) and replay stuff
Settings
Help

Its exactly how i wanted the menu.
The Prologue like UI as main menu and maybe for Arcade and a world map for GT mode.

I also lke the icons.

EDIT: Arcade>Multiplayer>GT Mode>License>Phototravel>Replaytheater/Photo stuff>Settings>Manual

EDIT²: My guess of course, i made the pic a bit bigger.

From left to right...

Arcade (i think :))
Multiplayer/Online
Dealerships
License Center (Forgot this one the first time)
Garage
GT-TV
Settings
Manual/Help

I would agree, I like it also very clean and user freindly remember this is only a small sampler, and as Nissan proved PD are masters at user interface design.

From left to right besides Arcade my guess is GT TV, GT Mode, online chat mode, maybe test drive mode, steering w/pedels option, options screen and owners manual so to speak.

Haha, watch until the end of the video. The driver goes through the movable barriers in the last corner, and one of them gets stuck on his windshield for about 50 yards.

The interface is great! I'm glad they're keeping the Prologue style, instead of making another "city" which is so out of date. 👍

You notice that on the settings for the race, It says, Akitiv-Lenkung

That translates to, active control...

Am I forgetting something, or is that new?

I hope in the manual icon it will have a place to keep your personal notes for setups of your cars with lap times and get's updated as you play with your settings in the game and record the best lap time and setup with horsepower, track, weather and all other details pertinent to that particular car. So when you join a race you can refference back to it for the best setup.

Yay for the video, that'll help me for the next theme update, yay :D

I think that would be ASM, Active Stability Management
