I assume everything off? I flipped mine to these settings 1st race. Unless theres something I can turn on or higher and not be called a woosie.

Driving Line: Off obviously
Blind Spot Indicator: On
Active Steering: Off
Traction Control: 0
Active Stability Management (ASM): Off
ABS: 0
Skid Recovery Force: Off
Controller Steering Sensitivity: 7 (I like a tight wheel response, not doing that 900 degrees crap on my Driving Force GT)

And LOL no hood visible at all on roof cam for the Honda Fit. Really Kaz, REALLY!

You nailed it, although I leave ABS on 1 myself. I also turn off the flashing "suggested gear indicator" since it is horrible. Have to start a race then press start to access it.

Controller sensitivity is only for the DualShock ... it has no effect if you use the wheel.

Turning off Suggested Gear now. And Turning ABS up to 1. Well, the wheel response is a LOT tighter than it was in GT5 IMO. I only played GT5 one month, got pissed at no wheel lock and it collected dust till last month when I sold it. Im going to test the opposite option for Steering in a few minutes to see if Im really right or wrong.

Are you guys sure some of these super cars arent suppose to have a little traction control on? Instantly spinning out in 1st in the Viper anniversary car is pretty freakin ridiculous. Im not even slamming the gas and it comes around. I can win the B license races with it, but good grief too much power. I want to learn to be good at racing online and be ready for whatever hardcore settings that may apply, but sheesh.

Generally speaking, the more torque the car has, the harder it will be to control rear wheels with the throttle. If you want expert settings, keep it off (Stig always turns it off, LOL). You can also work your way down gradually. Start at 3, 2, 1 until you are comfortable with 0.

Some of the supercars still have TC/Computer aids kicking in that you can't turn off. The GT-R for example.

All except Blind Spot Monitor. With every assist off, I was pretty surprised at how challenging the Europa was to handle. Like a hearse.

Does anyone else think the brakes are too good?
Its like i have F1 brakes on my Honda Fit!

I turned them down to 1/1 but it didn't make much difference.

ABS off is a joy in GT6. And quite surprisingly the default brake balance of 5/5 seems to be just fine for any car really. You don't lock the rears easily any more.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm was hoping for an improvement to the "ABS off" setting, too.
