What gym do you go to?

I attend a small local gym, close to my house. No big franchise for me.

It's a simple gym, who's concentration is on Giving People the Opportunity and Guidance to Achieve Change in their Body.

Emporium Gym in Erdington, UK.

Proper spit and sawdust gym. Plenty of stacks of weights lying around. Grrr, it's right manly!

No gym, just my spare bedroom but I like being able to stumble out of bed and hop on the elliptical machine in my pajamas. :P

Now I just need to find a spot to get my weight bench set up again.

Oakland University. It's like $8 a day now that I'm no longer a student so I only go occasionally. I'll go play basketball or something with some buddies but I think that might be the extent of it.

Go Girls, 20€/month. Tampere Finland. Don't let the name distract, serious gym with great equipment and staff. And least expensive around here.

I recently started building mine at home. The most amazing part is I am able to get pretty much everything I need for my workout in a little 7' x 7' room. I do hack squats (thanks Der Alta for the hack squat suggestion) in the living room where there is more area. Only thing I am missing is a dip rack which I will make to fit into the end of the bench where the preacher setup goes. Last thing I will need is a wide grip pull up bar that I will put in the garage.

This is what I have in that little room so far along with some other dumbells for Heather. I also purchased a couple 25# weights. I will need more weight for sure.

I tend to work out at home, since I'm in an apartment, starting to build something in the garage.
Did not find a small place like "Der Alta" yet, was considering enrolling in a local athletics club with some basic facilities, still would like to pick up shot-put again.
The bigger names kind of scared me off for the moment, price, public, opening times do not suit me.
