What happens when I log in to PSN?

Hey guys, I got GT6 2 hours ago. I'm not sure if it's allowed to play the game before it launches, so I logged out of PSN. Can I just log in without being banned or getting into other trouble?

Hmm i dont think it would be a problem because the online feature is still disabled (i think)
But anyway have fun with your Copy of GT6!!

Nothing. When I clicked on anything that would require PSN access, the game said "You need to connect to the PSN for this feature " or something like that.

Yes, if it's a genuine copy.

What could you have conceivably done wrong in buying a legitimate copy of the game and playing it for them to ban you for it?

@NICKname I received my pre-order today, for reasons unknown.
I have played the game while logged in to PSN, and has so far managed without reprimand from PD/Sony

When starting the game a pop-up message states that GT6 is not able to connect to the game servers, so all online features is unavailable.

If you got a legitimate copy and you have scoured it trough legal channels, you have done nothing wrong and should not fear playing the game logged in to PSN.


PS: After 3 hours of play I have not experienced any freeze/crashes as @Classic states above.

I was logged into PSN whilst playing the game for 5 hours last night and nothing went wrong with the game at all.

I had a game that was based online (TDU 2) 2 weeks before release and the only thing I encountered were confused devs making jokes with me. I'm also sure I saw a picture on twitter of someone trying to use the online features of GT6 (and failing).
