What, in your opinion, is the ugliest thing in Gran Turismo 5?

All you people are saying cars you find ugly. But there's no way in hell that for example the R35 is the ugliest thing in the game. I just can't believe that there would be anyone in the world who finds cars like that uglier than something like the Scion xB.

Or picking a modern Lambo, like someone said above, over a Suzuki Alto. I mean finding them ugly is one thing, but the ugliest when cars like that are there is just strange.

The ugliest in my eyes are the xB and Alto ( especially that version with some kind of flame sticker on the side) I mentioned before.

I want to take this question seriously. I think car design is a very interesting subject and it needs to be considered with many factors. Everyone just spouting off cars they hate and trying to make a meme out of it is the opposite of intellectual discussion.

I didnt say they were ugly. I just thought it was interesting to think of where Audi is taking the design. The Pagani Zonda though, with that ugly face, is close to the Hyundais.

I think some of them deserve a better analysis. I agree that the latest ones, such as the Tuscan Speed 6 is striking to look at, but the older ones, the V8S and Griffith are good looking machines. Exactly because they don't have that TVR lunacy on the looks. They are just simple sports cars.

they were designed to mimic the older triumph roadsters. light, simple, easy to drive normal, quick to kill the careless.

👍 While it is ugly, I dont hate it. The pop-up headlamps help a lot too.

I didn't say the Murcielago deserves DUMP STATUS as it is a very well liked supercar(I assume you're referring to out of the game but I don't really know as you're just saying it to everything you don't like), all I meant was I just don't see them as attractive for a high end supercar.

I never said I find it the ugliest car in the game and I don't mean that I find it uglier than Japanese budget cars and awful concept cars. Just that compared to other sportscars, like the Tuscan, I don't find it very attractive. I think quite a high percentage of people, although not everyone, in this forum hate the xB and the Alto and those sorts of cars so it's not really worth posting that I find them ugly.

Also this DUMP STATUS is absolute nonsense, it doesn't contribute anything and in my opinion, none of the cars should be DUMPED no matter how ugly or boring anyone thinks they are.

As for the questions: The ugliest thing in Gran Turismo is the X1 Challenges. The ugliest thing about GT5 is all the whining (whinging for those in the country that invented the language).

Unfortunately this highly annoying phrase appears to be immune to not so subtle hint. It isn't a meme, likely will never be one. Meme are generally funny, or quaint at least. Dump status is more like Rachel Ray saying evoo and following it with "extra virgin olive oil"...that is to say, it's only annoying.

Man that's the first I've heard of a Shogun! I'm guessing that's the American market's equivalent of the Fiesta (like an XR2 or similar) ...Looks amazing, that would have done well over here I think!

Like always, the background details. In some tracks these details are really nice, like in Route X, but others unfortunately look like if they were taken from GT1.

As for cars, I must admit that one of my favorite cars, the Corvette C4 (in either the ZR1 or GS version) look absolutely terrible. I don't know if they've improved them since I'm still in v1.00.
