What is a "stealth" car?

DLC cars that you can only get from expired codes given out in the GT5 Signature Edition games or by hybriding.

When you pre-ordered the GT5: Signature Edition, you received codes for special cars, called 'Stealth Cars'.
The cars, and how they were acquired, are as follows:

Nissan GT-R GT500 - through Best-Buy pre-order
McLaren F1 and 2010 'Joey Logano' #20 GameStop Camry - through GameStop
Honda NSX GT500 - through Walmart
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG - through Amazon pre-order and...
The Mazda 787B - from Target...

...and were simply standard versions of the cars painted in Dark-Matte-Black with racing numbers.

They're essentially priceless now, since the codes have expired, and it's impossible to receive them now.

*You could probably get a hacked version sent to you, but frankly, those people who get involved with hacked cars will receive their dues shortly*

They were the Mclaren F1, Mazda 787B, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and others I cannot recall. And were simply standard versions of the cars painted in Dark-Matte-Black with racing numbers.

Edit:
The cars were slightly different from their non-stealth counterpart, as they were all certainly more performance oriented. Off the top on my head the 787b standard had around 700 HP while the stealth had over 800 HP.
Here's the line-up and how they were obtained in the States: Nissan GT-R GT500 through Best Buy pre-order, McLaren F1 and 2010 Joey Logano #20 GameStop Camry through GameStop, Honda NSX GT500 through Walmart, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG through Amazon pre-order gift and the Mazda 787B from Target

A. They cannot be sent, ever, hacked or not. Nor can they be borrowed. They can be had, but only via ONE method, and one only, and that method is not open for discussion here.

B. Could you please provide a link for the info you have on what PD or Sony is planning on doing to those who've modified their game save?

Would you mind PMing me with the method you're talking about? I don't plan on trying it, I'm just curious. :)

To avoid the rule against posting information which is false, and to avoid any sort of build up/hype; I'm simply not going to say anything more about it. And let things go at their own pace. ;)

Oh how I wish PD would pull a 'Forza' and release this as a paid DLC...wishful thinking, and I'm prepared to be flamed and/or yelled at for dreaming ):

Right there with you. I got the GT-R stealth but i missed out on the NSX stealth they were giving out for buying the dlc and i didn't get the signature edition :(. Who knows, maybe they'll release them one day.

I'm hoping they stay exclusive to signature owners. Do you know how much that edition cost? Fine put them as dlc. About 10 bucks a car.

How about for free? Because of hybriding, anyone can get these "exclusive" cars no problem if they know how.

Generally offered with the collectors edition. Still even if they do release them I still have my 1:43 SLS model to make the sig version seem value for money.

Is it worth saying that the signature edition wasn't even sold in my hemisphere of the world? Money is no object, I would have bought that if I could have...
